EVOLVING AND EMBRACING THE

GLOBAL MARKET

Hytec Automotive’s manufacturing plant exists where rich culture and history meet modern civilization. Located in Dafeng City, China (in the middle of the Jiangsu Province), the facility is within close proximity to busy shipping ports as well as Yancheng Airport (providing domestic and international service), and is a two-hour drive from Shanghai. Hytec Automotive’s unique location and transportation advantages make it convenient to the international marketplace.

Hytec Automotive has been selected as the preferred supplier to Automotive Distribution Network (ADN), which includes Independent Auto Parts of America (IAPA) and Parts Plus as members. “ADN is one of the premier marketing groups with one of the fi nest and largest independent warehouse distribution networks in our industry,” says Hytec Automotive President Tim Zahler. “� is was a very important key approval, allowing us to increase our volume tremendously.”

To earn preferred supplier status, Hytec Automotive participated in a comprehensive six-month product evaluation process. In addition to plant visitations to verify quality manufacturing, “We had to be extremely competitive and prove we can deliver on our market pricing. We won on all fronts.”

Hytec Automotive is built on quality and customer service. “We are very proud of all of our group approvals and we value each and every partnership.”

According to Zahler, “� e automotive aftermarket has not reached China yet. With the emergence of free trade the Chinese population is increasing personal wealth. Everybody is buying cars in China and Hytec Automotive intends to be a major player in China’s automotive aftermarket.”

“General Motors is the number one selling car company in Asia right now. Harnessing the opportunity to sell automotive parts to other countries and to ship directly from our manufacturing facility is an exciting and natural next step.”

To prevent waste and conserve resources, two-thirds of the raw

materials used in Hytec Automotive’s new water pump packaging

are made from recycled materials. Certi� ed by the Sustainable

Forestry Initiative (SFI), Hytec Automotive’s packaging partner,

Advance Packaging Corporation, will print the

SFI Certi� ed Sourcing® label on Hytec’s boxes,

ensuring good stu� —both inside and out.

According to the Natural Resources

Defense Council (www.nrdc.org), using

recycled materials cuts down

on the energy used in the

manufacturing process, dramatically

reducing emissions of greenhouse gases and

other air pollutants.
