nSRT range Polyester pumping stationsManufactured by filament winding
Mechanical and corrosion resistance
1 • Orthogonal filament winding consists in puttingroving yarns on a mandrel along circumferential andlongitudinal axes.
2 • This gives a material that offers maximumresistance on the load axes (60 to 70 % glass).
3 • We assemble the base on the shell, then addpolyester lamination in order to obtain a perfectseal. The shell is made by filament winding.

The station must be buried 20 cm belowthe surrounding land.
Pass the cable duct through to the control panel.
Fill with 10-15 mm gravel up to the upper side of the station.
Make a 20 cm thick concrete slab; sealthe 250 or 400 kN cover frame.
MaintenanceGenerally speaking, all pumping stations require regular maintenance. The frequency depends on the nature of the water theydeal with (at least 3 to 4 inspections per year). Regular maintenance consists in cleaning the floats and rinsing thoroughly thetank walls and all lines and accessories in contact with the waste water. Twice a year, the pumps must be taken out andinspected.
CommissioningIn France, commissioning is always done by Techneau or its contacts. It consists in connecting the equipment up to the powersupply, putting the pumps into position, checking that everything is in good working order, and testing with water. The customer is responsible for the following: installing the station andconnecting it to the various pipes, installing the control panel and powersupply and inspecting the electrical installation.
CAUTION, for the station to work correctly, lower float n°1 must be set tostop the pump half way up the motor.Float n°2 must be set to start the pump at 20 cm from the inlet level.IMPORTANT, the floats must be cleaned regularly to make sure that thestation works correctly.
Dig a hole according to the size of the tank.Place the earth rod.
Make a 20-cm thick concrete slab at the bottom of the pit.
Place the station on the slab.Anchor the fastening feet of
the station to the slab.Connect up the pipes and fill
with 10-15 mm gravel.
