A parent popped into school on Friday to say a huge thank you to a group of children who helped her in the snow.

She had her two young children in the car trying to get them to school and she got stuck on Clare Avenue. A group of children appeared and pushed her through the snow and over the roundabout until she could continue her journey.

She wasn't able to stop and say thank you as she didn't dare stop her car in case she got stuck again.

YEAR 9 INTERNAL EXAMS TIMETABLE

YEAR 9 INTERNAL EXAMS ARRANGEMENTS

•Make sure you have the correct equipment for the exam.

You will need a black pen, a pencil, a ruler and a

rubber. Please note: You will be charged 10p for each

item you borrow.

• Calculators and coloured pencils will be provided

• Before each exam go to the café and leave your bags

and coats

• Line up in teaching sets in the café as directed by the

member of staff in charge.

PREPARATION FOR Y9 EXAMS

• Make sure you revise for your Y9 exams. Ask your teachers if you are unsure

of what to revise.

• The results of the exams will be taken into consideration by staff when you

are selecting your options in March.

• Remember you will not be able to graduate in June if you are working below

you end of year target grade in Maths, English,Science and 5 other subjects

75 school days or 15 school weeks

before the GCSE exams start on 15th
