At Purdy Contracts we have a dedicated and specialist Education Contracts Division which has a demonstratable track record in the delivery of Electrical and Heating Services to over 200 Schools, Colleges and University buildings throughout London and the South East.

We have years of experience working in this specialist sector carrying out Installation, Maintenance, Servicing and Repair work to education buildings that are either occupied or closed for holiday periods. We work closely in partnership with every client to devise a bespoke schedule of works and operational procedures, which are flexible and provide the minimum level of disruption. All worked is meticulously planned to a timed schedule to ensure work is completed right first time, and on time, every time.

Many of the schools we have worked in are also listed buildings which obviously requires a high level of skill in order to sensitively and discreetly incorporate modern-day requirements into historic, protected buildings.

Site safety is very important to our operational teams especially when we are working in occupied properties such as schools and public buildings. Risks obviously increases when you have children within the building so we would always ensure areas are securely blocked off and made safe, whilst appropriate signage is displayed and of course good working practices adopted at all times.

There are many influencing factors in the way we approach our work but each property will be reviewed individually and the needs of the occupants such as school staff, pupils and the general public identified.
