W hat do you think of color purple?

Does it remind you of brinjals and grapes?

Anything else? Violets and Iris …..Pretty flowers aren’t they?

Since the color purple is not generally seen as much as the other colors, we the students and the teachers of

Preprimary had a day assigned to know, enhance and identify the color purple.

The students of Pre-primary dressed exclusively in purple clothing as they celebrated purple day on 13th

March sharing with their friends little ideas and thoughts about this unusual color.

It was nice to see a student bring in a purple cabbage to surprise the other students with a vegetable not so

easily seen.

The class teachers pictured all these little ‘purple people’ displaying their bottles, balls, toys, and dolls

….purple presents they were so proud off!

EXPLORING THE ARTIST WITHIN US….

PYP celebrates its unique Art Festival

O ur honourable Mrs Rupal Kanakia guides the chief guest to declare the exhibition open.

Mrs Kalpana Shah --- Artist cuts the ribbon and announces the exhibition open for one and all

to admire the artistic impressions of the students.

Ms Krina Chauhan, the PYP Art Teacher, innovatively instructed these little artists, and introduced

different art forms in this year’s presentation with great enthusiasm.

Our PYP Co-ordinator Ms. Paminder Kohli, takes

to the mike with a warm welcome speech, that

synchronizes with the ambience of the occasion.

Impressive. She filled the room with an air of

wonder!

by our principal, Mr Neil Sookoo.

Capturing everyone present with a brush

on the canvas,she made artistic strokes

in earth hues with ease that were

admired immensely.

WELCOME TO OUR FRENCH PATISSERIE!

On 13 February 2015, as a part of our French lessons, we created a

French patisserie or a French pastry shop in our homeroom. We set

up various stalls having all the different types of French delicacies

such as croissants, mousses, macaroons, cupcakes, tarts and of

course...Pastries!

We also set the price for the items. We invited one and all to buy from

us. It was great fun as everyone purchased food items from us.

At the end of the day, we counted our earnings and put it safely in a

box. We decided to give 10% of our money to CAS. It was great fun

learning about the different types of French desserts and getting to

know how to talk to and deal customers. It was really the confidence that we gained!
