Cut:White:(B) Spacers – cut (2) 1 ½” x WOF strips

subcut – (36) 1 ½” squares(C) Ends – subcut – (4) 1 ½ x 2”(D) Side borders – cut (2) 1 ½” x WOF strips

subcut -- (2) 1 ½” x 40 ½”(E) Top/Bottom 1st & 3rd borders –

cut (4) 2” x 40 ½” stripsSashing – cut (4) 1 ½” x WOF strips

subcut (12) 1 ½” x 12 ½”

Assorted Border Colored Squares:(A) Squares – subcut (38) 1 ½” squares fromleftover color yardage

Dark Aqua Binding: cut (5) 2 ¼” x WOF strips

Cornerstones: cut one 1 ½” square each of:Dark Gold, Lime, Light Orange, Aqua

Sew:Colored Square Borders:

1. Colored Square Rows: Select 19 assorted color squares (A). Select 18 white spacer squares (B).Sew spacers, alternating with color squares as shown in illustration. Sew (C) rectangle at each end ofthis row. Press. Repeat to make second row.2. Select (E) border strips and sew them end to end. Press. Cut into four 2” x 44 ½” strips.Stitch one of these strips to top and bottom of each of the rows from step 1 to make top border.Repeat to make bottom border.

Sashing and Side borders:1. Select two cornerstones (#69 Dark Gold and #18 Lime) and three sashing strips. Sew sashingstogether alternating with cornerstones following color layout on diagram.2. Repeat with remaining cornerstones (#33 Aqua and #35 Light Orange).3. Sew remaining sashing strips between Blocks and join into rows. Press.4. Sew Cornerstone rows between Block rows. Press.5. Attach Side Borders (D). Press.6. Attach Colored Square Borders. Press.

Finishing:1. Sew binding strips end to end. Press.2. Layer, quilt as desired, bind.
