Summertime is considered to be the peak season in yachting. Owners and their families have more time to use their yachts and the majority of charters take place during the summer months. The peak season in the brokerage world is considered to be April through June. More vessels are bought, sold, or booked for charter during these months than during any other time of the year. As expected, Moran Yacht & Ship had an extremely productive second quarter in 2012. The highlights were the on-time and under-budget deliveries of the 87m (285 Ft.) Lurssen ACE and the 55m (180 Ft.) Amels STEP ONE. These two magnificent yachts represent the first two of six large yachts Moran Yacht & Ship will deliver in 2012.

We are proud to announce the newest addition to the Moran Yacht & Ship sales fleet, the 45.7m (150 Ft.) Palmer Johnson sport yacht O’KHALILA. This yacht is beautifully streamlined, and with her golden hull, she is

DAY 1 KEA

Join your yacht in Athens, the ancient cradle of civilization. Let Athens impress you with it’s mixture of old world charm, and modern European bustle. The vessel will be waiting for you in Port of Piraeus. The chef has pulled out all the stops to dazzle you with fresh local foods - enjoy them en route to the hilly island of Kea.

DAY 2 SIFNOS

Set out for a day of land-based activities on mountainous Sifnos. Sifnos is renowned for beautiful and secluded beaches, vibrant and culturally rich towns, and impressive Cycladic architecture. Whether you are looking for great sunbathing, shopping, or sightseeing, Sifnos has it all. Don’t forget to visit the Seven Settlements, which are spread across the island’s central hills.

DAY 3 SANTORINI

While you are still dreaming, your captain will set out for this legendary spot, some believe to be the site of Atlantis. Santorini is best known for its picturesque cliff side towns, breath taking views, and unequaled sunsets. Upon arrival, take in the spectacular harbor at Skala, part of an enormous crater created in 1600 B.C., when a volcano blew out the island’s center.

DAY 4 SANTORINI

Go ashore and visit Akrotiri, a town destroyed by the volcanic eruption and preserved under layers of volcanic ash. See the Museum of Prehistoric Thira and visit the Boutari Winery, Greece’s most popular wine exporter.

DAY 5 IOS

You’ll love the partying and nightlife on Ios. Entertainment is everywhere. Be ready to party until sunrise, when everyone is finally ready to sleep. The rest of the day is best spent lying beneath the sun on any of the island’s sandy beaches.

DAY 6 PAROS

The transportation hub of the Cyclades, Paros also offers good beaches and exciting nightlife, but on a more relaxed level than Ios. Be sure to take in the marketplace and the sixth-century “100-doored church” of Ekatondapiliani or visit the Valley of Petaloudes, home to giant tiger moths.

DAY 7 MYKONOS

Your last day of this one-way cruise is spent on the most famous of the Cyclades. Soak up the sun on the south shore beaches, which offer the best sand, views and wind protection. Spectacular diving also is available, and scuba rentals are plentiful. Great shopping abounds, especially at Soho-Soho, a trendy clothier.
