    To unlock the phone, press Unlock. When yousee the unlock prompt, enter your passwordand press Done.

    Tip: Be certain to remember yourpassword. Without your password, you canreset your phone, but it will result in the loss

    of your personalised settings and all contentstored in phone memory. To perform a hardreset, hold down the * and E keys for 5seconds while turning the phone on.

    Tip: You can make emergency calls on alocked phone (see page 44). A locked phonestill rings or vibrates for incoming calls ormessages, but you do not need to unlock it

    to answer.
