Farming Informing Distributing
Servicing Caring
A joint venture by Fruklas s.l. & Sienda Ltd
for today, for tomorrow, for our world Changing the way agribusiness works
QBX by Fruklas s.l. 2 / 4
Qoobix is born out of a joint venture made by Fruklas s.l. and Sienda Limited.
Sienda Ltd is a business-consulting firm and a web agency focused on agribusiness,
enterprise modeling, business networking, and marketing.
Fruklas is a Spanish company specialized in farming grapes and artichokes, with additional
fruits and vegetables grown by affiliated farmers to Supermarkets, Shops, and Distributors in
Europe and North America.
Fruklas was established in 2004; thanks to important relationships with farmers in Spain,
Italy, Latin America, and North Africa, has reached significant goals and increasing growth due to
its Total Quality Management System supervising a chain of the best growers who produce
supreme crops consistently. In order to have and maintain control over the produce, Fruklas
enacted a Quality System, based upon transparency, healthy food, safe labor, respect for our
environment, ethical trade. Our farming production and practices, and all of our associated
farming production and practices are under our very strict guild lines and quality checks, our
production chain must respond to the exacting rules for sustainable agricultural practices and
consumers’ wellbeing, as well as meet every quality requirement we are asked for from our
clients. That’s why being part of our farming chain means to be part of a great partnership, we do
not simply buy from growers to sell to clients, we grow right along side with our affiliated growers
to get the most out of every crop, and return our farmers top euro from the market.
This is why we at Fruklas decided to partner with Sienda and create Qoobix, an innovative
system for growing and distributing fruits and vegetables, in our opinion the most innovative
ground-breaking organization to revolutionize agribusiness in and for the coming future.
So, what is QBX?
Q for Quality: crops, labor, and business must meet the highest quality requirements.
B for Business: we hold mutual business and cooperation as the best way to grow together
and get the most.
X for eXtra: everyone’s work, all professional services, products and clients we supply must
be in line with our most exacting standards and practices without compromise so everyone
involved with the entire chain from farm to fork will be satisfied!
For Farmers
If you are interested in being part of our farming chain, you must answer, “Yes” to the
following questions
1) Is there an existing quality system and practice in use at your farm?
2) If your answer to the above question is “No”, are you willing to start a quality
standard and practice?
QBX by Fruklas s.l. 3 / 4
3) Are you willing to be part of our farming chain and disclose all the procedures and
hard facts that guarantee the best Quality and to accept our Standard’s and Practice’s?
Our Standard’s are based upon sustainable agriculture, and we absolutely require our crops
to be certified either by GlobalGAP, Organic, or an equivalent recognized standard. If an
equivalent standard is offered then it must meet the same certification standards of GlobalGap or
Organic with no compromise.
If you agree, then click here to fill the form and send us your information. We will get back to
you as soon as possible.

Fruklas’ Production Chain and Quality Standard
During the last few years Fruklas has improved upon their production and quality above
their own excellent standards they began with, reaching important goals such as increasing
cultivated ground for grapes and artichokes and a network of farmers who provide fruits and
vegetables in line with their strict quality standards. Fruklas supervises daily all the production
chain and rigorously checks the quality.
Fruklas’ distribution has considerably increased their consolidation to local markets
including the Ho.Re.Ca. trade. At the same time widening its business on International markets
supplying new supermarkets, their platforms, and their needs.
Consumers, who want and enjoy healthy, safe, and tasty fruits and vegetables, are
increasingly demanding Fruklas’ products.
We are very grateful to all our farmers, business partners, and consumers. We will always
do our breast to deliver the finest of our crops to your markets.
This is the Fruklas Promise!
Many thanks to one and all for putting your trust in Fruklas’

1. FQS: Fruklas’ Quality Standard
Fruklas guarantees the quality of its products by having strict standards, which is employed on our
own cultivations and on those by our associated farmers. This assures the continuity of our
production line. All of our crops are grown according to Integrated Farming Practices. Below are
the significant points we cover.
Fruklas’ Fruit & Vegetables Standard covers:
Soil Management Substrates Pre-Harvest Controls for Plant Protection Product Application Organic Fertilizer Application Pre-Harvest Check Harvesting Final Produce Packing at Point of Harvest Produce Handling Covering Hygiene Sanitary Facilities Packing and Storage Areas Quality Control Pest Control Post-Harvest Washing Post-Harvest Treatment Microbiological Hazards Responsible Water Use Integrated Pest Management PPP use in countries that allow extrapolation Residue Analysis MRL Exceedance Visual inspection and functional testing of application equipment
2. Integrated Farming System – IFS
Integrated Farming System (IFS) or Integrated Production Management (IPM) is a farming method
and technique which employs agricultural practices to meet sustainability issues such as: reduction
of chemical (herbicide, pesticide, etc.) products, eroding soil structure, lower soil fertility, climate
change, and much more.

PCQS 3 / 4
2.1 Significant Points
1) Productivity: IFS provides the opportunity to increase economic yield per unit area per unit time by virtue of intensification of crop and allied enterprises.
2) Profitability: Utilizing waste material of one component at the least cost. This reduces the cost of production and forms the linkage of utilization of waste material. The elimination of middleman interference is the input used most. Working out the net profit B/C ratio is increased.
3) Potentiality or Sustainability: Organic supplementation through effective utilization of byproducts of linked components is done, thus providing an opportunity to sustain the potentiality of our production base for much longer periods.
4) Balanced Food: We link components of varied natures enabling us to produce different sources of nutrition.
5) Environmental Safety: In IFFS waste, materials are effectively recycled by linking appropriate components, thus minimize environment pollution.
6) Recycling: Effective recycling of waste material in IFFS.
7) Income Year Round: Due to the interaction of enterprises with crops, eggs, milk, mushroom, honey, cocoons silkworm, provides a constant flow of revenue to the farmer year round.
8) Adoption of New Technologies: Resource access to farmers (large farmer) that fully utilizes new technologies. IFS farmers, linkage of dairy / mushroom / sericulture / vegetable. Revenue flow year round gives the opportunity to the smaller/local farmers to adopt new technologies.
9) Saving Energy: To identify an alternative source to reduce our dependence on fossil energy sources within a short time. Using effective recycling techniques, available organic waste can be utilized to generate biogas. The energy crisis can be postponed to a later date.
10) Meeting Fodder crisis: Every piece of land area is effectively utilized. Plantings of perennial legume fodder trees on field borders that fix the nitrogen from the atmosphere. These practices will greatly relieve the problem of non – availability of quality fodder from the animal component link.
Fruklas s.l. Mercalicante, Pto. 134/136/138 Ctra. Madrid, Km. 4 – 03007 ALICANTE – España C.I.F. B-53939146 Fax +34 966300790 / Cell. +34 617710647 – www.fruklas.com
PCQS 4 / 4
11) Solving the Fuel and Timber Crisis: Linking agro- forestry appropriately, the production level of fuel and industrial wood can be enhanced without a determining effect on crop. This will also greatly reduce deforestation, preserving our natural ecosystem.
12) Employment Generation: Combining crop with livestock enterprises would increase the labor requirement significantly and will help in reducing the problems of under employment to a great extent. IFS provides enough scope to employ family labor year round.
13) Agro – industries: When one of the produce, linked to IFS, are increased to a commercial level, there is a surplus value adoption leading to more development of allied agro – industries.
14) Increasing Input Efficiency: IFS provides a wide scope to use all inputs in different components with greater efficiency and benefit cost ratio.
3. Fruklas’ Line’s and Brand’s
