TIPS FOR INCOMING 6TH GRADE PARENTS
SCHOOL SUPPLIES
No need to bring all supplies to school to orientation or the first day. On the first day, be
sure to have a folder, a writing utensil, and notebook paper.
Set-up the CASE-IT Binder after meeting the teachers. String bags are encouraged for
tranporting materials during the day.
BRING THEM IN SLOWLY!
TARDIES AND LOCKERS
Tardies will not be counted against students during the first week of school. On the first
day of school, kids will have a chance to find their lockers and practice during Raider

ORIENTATION/MEET AND GREET
On August 8th, your child will get their schedule and locker assigned to them.
The counselors will do a brief update over what to expect on the first day of
middle school! Students can go home at 4:30 if desired. However, from 4:30 to
5:30 students will engage in fun activities designed to help them get to know
one another.

Students will be asked to keep cell phones/smart phones secured in a locker
