BE AN INFLUENTIAL PERSONIt's not a top secret that companies today are becoming increasingly worried about a huge and appealing presence on social media. While they may be hiring digital experts to help promote those objectives, very few CEOs are attempting towards being active on social media themselves, which will be the real value a Social CEO serves.

According to business intelligence and data visualization company Domo, just 30 % of Fortune 500 CEOs have a presence on social channels. Further, they stated that this small percentage isn't truly involving with their audience on social media; they're simply broadcasting uncongenial and general messages to promote their company's products and services.

• Develop an inclination towards knowing what people are saying about the company and other competitors

• By examining social media activity and engaging with followers, you are able to collect useful feedback and data that can better inform the decisions you make for your company

Social media is not to be accessed just for the sake of receiving feedback, but it's also about giving something back to your loyal customers and followers.

• A CEO can maintain the company image along with his/her personal brand, by being genuine and engaging with the followers in an authentic manner

• Main relationships without a prejudice: You must reply to people irrespective of their hierarchy or their follower base or their relevance to you

• An easier route for many CEOs is towards taking a back seat and allowing the Experts to take the lead but times are changing and a social CEO is the need of the hour across the globe

• Take help from Advisors or learn from other leaders, but manage your own presence to deliver a genuine and personal engagement

It's imperative that you take social media seriously and invest in building relationships with your followers on a regular basis to be able to lead from the front.
