Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance Team Leader will be responsible for supporting the Quality Manager with the administration of the Quality and NCR systems and the required reporting function together with QC checking of stock, WIP and outgoing orders as required. Assistance with internal audits of the QMS and transition to ISO 9001:2015, together with quality improvements throughout the business. The role involves: • NCR system Administration and Reporting • Quality control checking of stock • NCR investigations at customer premises as required • Internal audits to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 • Preparation of departmental Quality, NCR and KPI reports • Project Management and Improvement Plans • In house paint trials • Assisting with departmental training requirements Qualifications/ Experience • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths • ISO9001 in Internal Auditing • Previous experience working as part of a quality team with ability to take responsibility for the role • Previous experience in management of quality systems • Quality improvement techniques, eg F.M.E.A., Cause and Effect, Process Capability • Strong customer focus with commitment to providing a quality service • Good computer skills and level of IT literacy – competent with Microsoft Excel • Team Player with a flexible approach • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others • Attention to detail required Job Vacancy Quality Assurance Team Leader
