The 35mm diameter allows the motors to fit in a large range of tube sizes. The 35S is a flexible tubular motor option and can be used in building automation process. The introduction of Molex® connectors allows ease of motor replacement and programming should this be required.

The 45 series of motors from Uniline the same reliable design and operation 35 series, but with the increased torque for the larger jobs. The 45 series motors range from 10Nm to 50Nm torque with a diameter of 45mm. The 45S series is the driving force for your larger applications. Controlled via mechanical switches, switch receivers or building automation systems.

DC90/92/93/94 - DC48/49 Programming Instructions

Basic Programming

1.1 Choose the first channel to set to the motor receiver.

1.2 A buzzer will sound once after switchingthe mains power “ON”, to the motor receiver.

(Note: If no key is pressed within 12 seconds, the motor receiver will return to the default state).

1.3a Press P2 button twice then the UP buttonfor the motor to turn in a clockwise direction.

1.3b Press P2 button twice then the DOWN button for the motor to turn in an anti-clockwise direction.

(Note: To reset the direction options, disconnect and then reconnect the power.)

Add Additional Remotes

2.1 To set a new channel, press the first “P2” button on your DC90/92/93/94 & DC 48/49 twice, and then press the new DC90/92/93/94 & DC 48/49 “P2” button; the buzzer sounds 4 times to acknowledge this operation.

Adding Additional Remotes to the one remote

(Note: applicable only for DC92/93/94/49)

Press the “P2” button twice for the first channel then select the new channel and press the “P2” button once; the buzzer will sound 5 times to acknowledge this change.

DC90/92/93/94 - DC48/49 Programming Instructions

Deleting all channels

3.1 Choose a valid channel on the remote; press the “P2” button once; the receiver will beep once in acknowledgement.

3.2 Then press the “STOP” button;

3.3 Finally, press the “P2” button. The buzzer beeps 4 times; all channels/remotes are deleted from that motor receiver.

Touch Action or Step Action on the Motor/Receiver

Note: Touch action applies when the direction button is ‘touched’ or held down. Step action causes the motor shaft to rotate by 10° increments as per the direction button selected.

5.1 Choose a programmed channel; press the “P2” button;

5.2 Then press the “UP” button;

5.3 Finally, press the “P2” button; the buzzer beeps 3 times to acknowledge the setting change.

To return to the previous action, repeat the above process. In the event that either procedure does not appear to work, the direction button may have been held down for too long – try taping the direction button.

Note:

• The emitter uses 27A/12V batteries; battery life is expected to be at least 12 months, however there are many operational factors that affect the life expectancy of the batteries.

• Please replace the batteries annually or when the voltage is less than 11V.

• To replace the battery: open the back battery cover; to access the battery. Only use the correctbattery and close the back cover; the emitter will operate normally again.

• Standard type R receivers can store 10 channels in the emitter. When other channels are added, it is possible to program more than 10 channels; in this case the control electronics will cycle through and drop out the preceding channels. Channel 1 is set; channel 2 to 10 will be added up to channel 10, then they start to cycle through ~ after 10 channels whenever a new channel is added, channel 2 will be replaced by channel 3, etc...

• With the DC93/94 channel 0 = “All Channels”.

S SERIES Programming Procedures for DC-41 (Single) and DC-42 (Double) Switch/Receivers, A Series.

A. Erasing a Single Channel

A.1 If using a multi channel remote transmitter, select the desired channel with the ‘channel select button’.

A.2 Press the ‘teaching button’,on the switch receiver the red LED will start to flash. Press the ‘stop button’ for the motor you wish to program. The LED should stop flashing and remain constant.

A.3 Press and hold the ‘down button’ on the remote transmitter. The LED on the switch/receiver will flash three times.

B. Erasing all Programmed Channels

B.1 Press and hold the ‘down button’ and the ‘stop button’ simultaneously for seven seconds on the switch/receiver that you wish to erase. The LED should flash three times to confirm the command.

B.2 Try and use the remote transmitter to test the command.

C. Changing the Switch/Receiver Touch Settings

The switch/receivers have 2 different ‘touch’ modes. The unit can either be fully latching, where one short push of the up or down buttons will send the blind to its limit, or momentary/latching combo. In the momentary/latching combo mode, you can jog the blind by pressing either up or down direction buttons for less than 1.5 seconds. If you hold down the up or down direction buttons for more than 1.5 seconds the switch will latch and the blind will travel to its limit.

HOW TO CHANGE MOTOR DIRECTION Hold the ‘up’ and ‘down’ button consecutively

for 7 seconds. The LED light will flash 3 times to confirm the change has been made.

1. Select the desired channel on your remote.

2. Press the ‘Teaching Mode’ button.The LED light will flash for 10 seconds on your switch/receiver.

3. Press the corresponding ‘stop button’(centre) for the motor you have selected to program.(The LED light will become solid)

4. Press the ‘up button’ on your remote. The switch/reciever will flash 3 times to confirm signal. Press any of the three buttons indicated to take the switch/receiver out of ‘Teaching mode’.

A. Erasing a Single Channel

A.1 If using a multi channel remote transmitter, select the desired channel with the ‘channel select button’.

A.2 Press the ‘teaching button’,on the switch receiver the red LED will start to flash. Press the ‘stop button’ for the motor you wish to program. The LED should stop flashing and remain constant.

A.3 Press and hold the ‘down button’ on the remote transmitter. The LED on the switch/receiver will flash three times.

B. Erasing all Programmed Channels

B.1 Press and hold the ‘down button’ and the ‘stop button’ simultaneously for seven seconds on the switch/receiver that you wish to erase. The LED should flash three times to confirm the command.

B.2 Try and use the remote transmitter to test the command.

C. Changing the Switch/Receiver Touch Settings

The switch/receivers have 2 different ‘touch’ modes. The unit can either be fully latching, where one short push of the up or down buttons will send the blind to its limit, or momentary/latching combo. In the momentary/latching combo mode, you can jog the blind by pressing either up or down direction buttons for less than 1.5 seconds. If you hold down the up or down direction buttons for more than 1.5 seconds the switch will latch and the blind will travel to its limit.
