General overview project

●Projects can have translation tasks, and/or error annotation tasks. Depending on that, the quality dashboard will show you reports on translation, and/or error annotation tasks.

●The reports about translation tasks focus mainly on productivity during translation. The reports about error annotation focus on the amount and type of error annotations made during a review round.

Report: project translation

●The chart ‘Productivity per language’ shows you which languages have the highest productivity in the project, based on how many words per hour, on average, were translated.

Report: project translation

●The chart ‘Distribution of segment origin’ tells you the source of the translations in your project. This can be translation memory, machine translation, human translation, or other origins. It also shows if the translation needed further editing, or was left unedited.

Report: project translation

●The normalized edit distance in segments shows for each of the segment origins how much extra editing was required. For example, if a TM translated segment did not require any extra editing, it will score ‘0’ on the x-axis. The percentages of these groups are shown in this chart.

Report: project translation●The Quality Dashboard provides you with information about the total time

spent on translation. You can get a breakdown per language, or per segment origin, to see the contribution of technologies, such as machine translation, or translation memories.

Report: project error annotation

●The error annotation reports contain the chart ‘Percentage of segments with errors’. This chart shows you for each language how many segments were annotated with errors during review

●The chart ‘Error density per language’ shows how the languages in the project scored when it comes to the number of errors for each 1000 words.

●The number of errors multiplied by the relative weight is shown in the chart ‘Weighted errors per language’. This chart also shows whether the total number of penalty points is within the pass/fail threshold or not.
