The Marble Group has over 16 years experience in the stone industry and sales combined and are now one of the premier producers of granite worktops in the country. We specialise in designing and manufacturing worktops to the highest standard of design using only the finest quality granite.

Our worktops are renowned for their superior finish which can only be achieved by our experienced masonry skills, and the latest precision machinery.

We source some of the rarest and most exquisite colour variations of natural stone from around the world and specialise in obtaining the most competitive prices at the highest quality from all over the globe importing from Italy, Spain, Greece, India, Malaysia, Portugal, Belgium, South America and Cyprus.

Provided that upcoming work is booked in in advance, kitchen and bathroom projects are fitted, delivered or collected 7-10 working days from templating. Quotations for small projects are always supplied within 24 hours and bigger ones within 5 days.

All our fitters are directly employed and we do not subcontract any work. By combining experience with knowledge alongside care and attention to detail we ensure that the customer is left completely satisfied. We are an approved fabricator for Quarella, Silestone, Caesarstone, Technistone, Diresco, Cimstone,

Arenastone, Lunastone, Samsung, Stone Italiana, Apichetta and Zodiaq. Due to the volume of work that we produce, we are able to obtain material from suppliers at rock bottom prices and therefore are able to offer kitchen studios a chance to make better margins.

We will advise companies on what quartz stone to sell at different times of the year to obtain the greatest possible value. We source our granite from five to six different importers based in the South East and are able to arrange viewing of slabs for customers wherever needed.

We are also able to provide glass splash backs at extremely good rates. We will template the splash backs on the day that we fit taking away the stress of organising another company to visit the customer’s house as soon as we finish. The glass is manufactured, toughened, coloured, back foiled and then fit back into the client’s house. We provide all the colours from the RAL chart or the full Dulux range.

mAcHINERY & YARDOur head office and showroom is based in Barnet and our stone yard is in Colney

Heath, Saint Albans. We are approximately a five minute drive from junction 22 of the M25. Our range of machines caters to the diverse needs of the stone industry and it includes bridge saws, edge polishing machines and slab lifting equipment to name a few.

Our bridgesaw range can be used for normal manual cutting, semi automatic, repeat cut production or fully automatic using dxf files. Our capabilities include; curve cutting and full circle cuts to as small as 580mm in diameter. All our work surfaces are hand crafted to individual requirements using traditional masonry skills alongside modern state of the art computer controlled machinery.

We stock an extensive range of full size marble, granite and quartz slabs, which are available for customers to view in our stone yard. Seeing the material in full size slabs rather than small samples gives one the opportunity to see in full, its natural beauty, and enables a customer to make the right choice by choosing their own individual slabs for their kitchen or bathroom. Customers are also able to view our material at a selection of our import depots in and around London depending on their location.

Our marble and granite is imported directly from quarries worldwide, enabling us to satisfy projects both large and small at competitive prices.

Quartz work surfaces comprise mainly of quartz and a series of inorganic elements whose composition may vary, depending on the colour. Most composite worktops we sell have 93% pure quartz crystal, giving natural depth and radiance, which eliminates any natural imperfections.

Quartz is one of nature’s strongest materials and is extremely hardwearing and resistant to heat and staining. Custom built to your exact specifications resulting in an end product that will give you many years of pleasure.

Quartz is virtually maintenance free, so once it’s fitted you just need to enjoy the hassle free results. The composition gives exceptional hard finish being rated at 7 on a scale of 10 with diamonds being a 10.
