This is the 3D printed puppet I
made. It contains a 2 output shafts
motor for rotating head and arms.
The feet are made of rubber using
3D printed molds.
I worked as a design engineer for HZ Innovations which is a
subdivision of Hong Zu Mould Enterprise. My job is to design and
create food packaging products and thermoforming tools.
I also improved a python code for automatically generated 3D
braided stents with appropriate inputs.
This plane was made during the Spring quarter. I have been
involved in 3D printing component parts, CNC cutting foam,
balsa ribs for the wings and composite lay up the wings.
This quad-copter was made in the Winter quarter. I have been
involved in 3D printing the support parts that help link the rods
together.
This airplane was made in the Winter quarter. I worked on
the foam wings composite lay up and 3D printing support
parts.
This plane was the one that got 2nd place in 19th AAIA
contest. I worked on the balsa wings and landing gear
manufacturing.
I was also in the CAD team for DBF. I made the CAD for
the landing gear, the balsa wings and the BOM drawing.
This is one of my class project. The Prof. gave a toy speed boat to
each group. Our job was to convert a speed boat into a tug boat
(more weight tugging = more points) without touching the internal
and electrical parts.
My main role in the group was to CAD the boat
components together with drawings. Here are some
rendered photos and BOM drawing.
To increasing the tugging power, one of our design was
making a ducted nozzle fit in the propeller, Kort nozzle. I
performed research about the fundamentals of the Kort
Nozzles, and 3D printing the nozzles for testing.
Here are all the 3D printed nozzles and propeller that I have
made. Unfortunately, none of them performed better than
adding load to the boat which was our final design.
Here is my another class project. The goal was to make
something detailed and cool with Solidworks. I got 100%
for this calculator.
