Event Recap: Jazz with a Chance of Meatballs

Our Spring fundraising event, Jazz with a Chance of Meatballs, was a huge success. Held in the Sandi Pointe ballroom, guests had the opportunity to sam-ple meatballs from a very capable group of contest-ants. Guest musicians Michael Pedicin, Bob Fergu-son, Tom Angello, and friends volunteered their time and grooved on this Sunday afternoon.

This event and others help the South Jersey Jazz So-ciety continue to offer year round jazz events in South Jersey. Thank you to everyone who attended and also to those who participated in the silent auc-tion!

Congratulations to the winner of the meatball cook-off, Stephanie D'Marco of Hammonton! The secret recipe? “Deep fry them!” Additional congratulations go out to runners up Cathy Rocco and Melanie Rice. Thank you to all participants!

memory of Bob Simon, founder

of Just 4 Wheels and a major

supporter of the South Jersey

Jazz Society.

Bob passed earlier this year and

we will forever remember his

gratitude and love for the arts!
