As St. Thomas Federal Credit Union (STTFCU) approaches its 68th year of service, we stand firm to our motto of “Not for Profit, Not for Charity, but for Service.” Throughout these trying times, STTFCU has placed focus on assisting our membership by providing products and services that would promote and enhance our new way of life. STTFCU managed to maintain its operations by offering services customized to our unique membership. Along with customized member service, we encouraged and will continue to encourage our members to utilize “Contactless Banking the Credit Union Way.” These services included: 24hr on-island ATMs at Altona Professional Center (formerly Medical Arts Complex) and Al Cohen’s Plaza “It’s Me 247” Online Banking platform at www.stthomasfcu.com Account to Account Transfers (A2A) “It’s Me 247” Mobile App (Download App from the App Store or Google Play) Mobile Check Deposit (deposit checks remotely using Mobile App) CU*Talk at (844) 357-0084 or (340) 774-9707 (check account balances via phone) MasterCard Debit Card with EMV Chip and Contactless technology Text Banking (check account balances via phone) Online Bill Pay Service Online loan applications eStatements (register online) In addition to ensuring our services are second to none, we began cashing Covid-19 related stimulus checks. However, we still needed to assist our membership and our economy. Therefore, we knew we had to take additional steps to provide other services. One of these services offered was a low-interest relief loan with a maximum amount of $3,000 at 3% APR with relaxed approval requirements to infuse much-needed funds into our economy. Even though this product was offered for only 30 days, we disbursed over $2 million to approximately 700 members who qualified. This type of assistance was much warranted and provided an opportunity for our members to maintain their financial standing. As we continue to traverse through these trying times, we have no alternative but to postpone the July Annual Meeting and Board of Directors Election. The tentative date is now October 16, 2020. Please save the date. In closing, I would like to thank our membership for the trust you have placed in STTFCU and your continued support. STTFCU is not only your regular financial institution, but we are also your institution of choice, and we value the wellbeing of every member. Thank you to the dedicated management, staff and volunteers for their hard work and sacrifice, of which words cannot describe. See you at our 2020 Annual Meeting and Board of Directors Elections, as we inspire hope for our local community. It will be an event to remember. Stay tuned for additional details. Remain safe and continue to take all necessary precautions against COVID-19. Keisha L. Richards Chief Executive Officer
