    HARVEST FESTIVAL- Track season has come and gone and the crisp briskness of fall is officiallyin the air as the nights and mornings are cooling down immensely. Though summer sunshine may befading, the fall season brings with it plenty of activities that offer family fun, including this years 4thAnnual Henry Street Harvest Festival. Last years festival brought over 1,000 people, and we wantthis year to be even bigger! The festival will take place in downtown Saratoga on Sunday, Sept. 22from noon to 4 p.m. The street wi ll be closed off on Henry Street between Lake Avenue and CarolineStreet. There will be live music, festive food and seasonal treats, pumpkin decorating, face painting,BBQ, exciting local vendors and more! Admission to the event is totally free, but proceeds fromvendors will all go to support a great cause: Gateway House of Peace, a local non-profit (501c3)volunteer organization with a vision to serve the terminally ill of the northern Saratoga Countycommunity. Gateway is getting closer and closer to reaching our goal of opening the house to our firstresidents, but we need the publics help more than ever to reach our goal! Gateway House is acharitable hospice that will give 24/7 care to patients, totally free of charge for low to middle incomepatients who cant afford private duty nursing. Our house is located at 479 Rowland Street inBallston Spa and will serve residents of Saratoga County. Residents will be those with terminal illnesswho are diagnosed with three months or less to live and can no longer safely remain in their homes.Residents will be under the medical care of Saratoga Community Hospice.

    AFTER THE FIRE MEETING- After The Fire's monthly meeting will be Tuesday, September 24at 7 PM at Halfmoon Town Hall on Harris Rd. in Halfmoon. New members are always needed, and

    are welcome to attend a meeting, find out more about our organization, and see how you can helpyour neighbors in need. After The Fire helps Saratoga County residents who have suffered a lossdue to fire. The group is comprised entirely of volunteers and exists totally on donations.
