Notice is given under the Planning Act 2016 that on 16 September2020, Logan City Council adopted the Unlocking Logan'sProsperity Amendment and on 2 November 2020 adopted theMinor, Administrative and Cadastre 2020 Amendment and theAdministrative LGIP Mapping (Cadastre 2020) Amendment.
The purpose and general effect of the Unlocking Logan'sProsperity Amendment is to implement changes to reduce redtape, support business, investment and the economic prosperityof the city, improve clarity and consistency, and respond tocommunity and industry feedback.
The purpose and general effect of the Minor, Administrative andCadastre 2020 Amendment is to make minor and administrativechanges, update property boundaries to align with the StateDigital Cadastral Database and reflect development approvals.
The purpose and general effect of the AdministrativeLGIP Mapping (Cadastre 2020) Amendment is to update theLocal Government Infrastructure Plan (LGIP) maps to align withthe State Digital Cadastral Database (December 2019).
The amendments will commence on and from 16 November 2020.
From this date, the amendments will be available for inspection andpurchase at Council's Administration Centre at 150 Wembley Road,Logan Central; Beenleigh Customer Service Centre and JimboombaCustomer Service Centre or can be viewed and downloaded fromCouncil's website at www.logan.qld.gov.au.

Planning Act 2016
ADOPTION OF GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE AND MINOR AMENDMENT PACKAGE TO THE REDLAND CITY PLAN 2018
Notice is given under the Planning Act 2016 and MinistersGuidelines and Rules 2017 that on 4 November 2020, RedlandCity Council resolved to adopt a package of administrative andminor amendments to the Redland City Plan 2018 .
The Amendment Package (01/20) will result in changes to theRedland City Plan 2018 as follows:• Correct an error in the Bushfire hazard overlay code;• Replace an outdated reference to planning legislation;• Include an editor’s note referring to odour criteria within
the relevant zone codes;• Replace references to outdated environmental legislation
within relevant codes;• Incorporate a reference to the State Planning Policy in the
Airport environs overlay code;• Correct references to planning scheme policies in section 1.2;• Correct an error in the industry thresholds table;• Include a new editor’s note in Schedule 5 to indicate that
where Council has received a notice from the Minister for thedesignation of premises for development infrastructure,Council is required by the Planning Act 2016 to include anote about the designation in its planning scheme. Inaccordance with this requirement, the designation ofpremises for development of infrastructure table in Schedule5 will be updated to include the following Ministerial (StateGovernment) designations for development infrastructure:o Yalingbila Bibula Whale Interpretive Centre;o Minjerribah Cemetery; ando Minjerribah Quandamooka Arts, Museum and
Performance Institute (the QuAMPI);• Remove the ‘draft’ stamp on the Strategic Framework map;• Amend the table of contents to fix an omission;• Make various minor amendments to the wording of the
Environmental significance overlay code;• Make various minor amendments to the wording of the
Waterway corridors and wetlands overlay code;• Amend the Rural zone table of assessment to clarify the
existing provisions for accepted development;• Fix a planning scheme drafting error relating to the existing
site cover provisions for the LDR1 precinct;• Update precinct images in relevant zone codes;• Identify the source of data in certain overlays and highlight
the relevant provisions of the Planning Act 2016 which areapplicable where there is inconsistency between mapping;
• Amend PSP6 Environmental Emissions to reflect a StateGovernment department name change and remove anerroneous word;
• Amend the certification block for as constructed works inPSP2 Infrastructure Works;
• Amend the contents page of PSP2 Infrastructure Works tocorrect numbering sequence errors;
• Amend the data capture guidelines in PSP2 InfrastructureWorks to identify mandatory information that is to beprovided to Council;
• Update the zone maps to remove the zoning from the roadreserve in Patersonia Place, Birkdale;
• Update the zone maps to remove the zoning from the roadreserve in Susan Street, Capalaba;
• Update the zone and overlay maps to reflect the changesapproved in the minor amendment package 01/2016 forthe superseded Redlands Planning Scheme; and
• Update the zone and overlay maps to reflect currentdevelopment approvals.
The amendment package will take effect as part of Redland CityPlan 2018 (Version 5) on 18 November 2020.
The amendment package can be viewed online atredland.qld.gov.au/cityplan and is available for inspection orpurchase at Council’s Customer Service Centre located on thecorner of Bloomfield and Middle Streets, Cleveland.
