1. This notice may be cited as the Correction of Grant Notice (No 03) 2015.Correction of grant [s.359(3) of the Act]
2. Prior to the issue of the Deed of Grant being corrected in Schedule 2, the land in the Deed of Grant was a lease under the Land Act 1994registered in the Land Registry, resulting in the error in describing the description and area of the Deed of Grant.
The resumption action plans were SP256589 and SP256590, and both plans need to be registered in the Land Registry for the registrar of titles to record the correction in the Land Registry.
The Deed of Grant described in Schedule 1 is amended as mentioned in Schedule 2.

3. Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Act 2009 ,the Logan City Council made Local Law No. 6 (Smoke FreePlaces) 2015 , Subordinate Local Law No. 6.1 (Smoke FreePlaces) 2015 and Amending Local Law No. 1 (AdministrationLocal Law) 2015 by resolution on 4 August 2015.
The object of Local Law No. 6 (Smoke Free Places) 2015 isto regulate smoking in a smoke free place to promote ahealthy environment and enhance the general amenityand appearance of the local government area through—
(i) establishing smoke free places; and
(ii) specifying a penalty for offences in respect of smoking ina smoke free place.
The object of Subordinate Local Law No. 6.1 (Smoke FreePlaces) 2015 is to assist in the implementation of LocalLaw No. 6 (Smoke Free Places) 2015 by specifying thosematters that are necessary for the implementation ofsmoke free places in the local government area.
The object of Amending Local Law No. 1 (Administration LocalLaw) 2015 is to amend Local Law No. 2 (Administration)2010 to apply to a new local law.

PLANNING SCHEME MINOR AMENDMENT PACKAGE
Notice is given under section 117 of the Sustainable PlanningAct 2009 that on 28 July 2015, Ipswich City Council resolved toadopt minor amendments to the Planning Scheme for the Cityof Ipswich.
The planning scheme amendments will have effect on and from10 August 2015.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF TEMPORARY LOCAL PLANNING INSTRUMENT 01/15 PROTECTION OF THE BUILDING KNOWN AS
THE SEAVIEW HOTEL, 65 PIER AVENUE, SHORNCLIFFE (TLPI 01/15)
At its meeting on 4 August 2015, Brisbane City Council adoptedTLPI 01/15 which will commence on 7 August 2015 and ceaseto have effect at the end of 6 August 2016 (unless repealed atan earlier date).
Purpose and General EffectTLPI 01/15 is intended to protect the Seaview Hotel and nominatedadjoining land. It facilitates assessment of the suitability ofdevelopment or reuse of land at 65 Pier Avenue or on adjoining landuntil Brisbane City Plan 2014 (City Plan) is amended to provideprotection under the Heritage overlay and Heritage overlay code.
TLPI 01/15 will implement policies in the Strategic framework ofCity Plan . This includes contributing to Brisbane’s outstandinglifestyle by ensuring that development or reuse of the SeaviewHotel or adjoining land will not detract from the cultural heritagesignificance of the Seaview Hotel, including any Aboriginalcultural values.
TLPI 01/15 applies to the following properties at Shorncliffe:• 65 Pier Avenue, described as Lots 2 to 5 on RP4520, Lot 4 on
RP4519 and that part of Seaview Lane sharing a commonboundary with Lots 1 to 4 on RP4520, Lot 3 on RP4530, thenorthern boundary of Lot 4 on RP4519 and the southernboundary of Lot 5 RP4520;
• 53 Pier Avenue, described as Lot 1 on RP4520;• 56 Yundah Street, described as Lot 3 on RP4530;• 62 Yundah Street, described as Lot 1 on RP42404; and • 15 Seaview Lane, described as Lots 1 to 6 on SP208433.
Current development approvals over these properties will not beaffected by TLPI 01/15.

ELECTORAL COMMISSION OF QUEENSLAND
In accordance with Section 63 of the Electoral Act 1992, I have ascertained and set out in Schedule A hereunder, as at the
date indicated, the number of electors enrolled in each Electoral District for the State of Queensland and have determined
the average district enrolment and the extent to which the number of electors enrolled in each district differs from the
average enrolment.
Schedule B indicates the adjusted enrolment for Electoral Districts of 100,000 square kilometres or more in area, being
the sum of the number of enrolled electors and the additional large district number as specified in Section 45 of the Act,
and the extent to which those districts differ from the average district enrolment in Schedule A.

QUEEN’S WHARF BRISBANE PRIORITY DEVELOPMENT AREA PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT SCHEME
Under the provisions of section 59 of the Economic DevelopmentAct 2012 the Minister for Economic Development Queensland(MEDQ) gives notice that on 7 August 2015 public notification ofthe proposed development scheme for the Queen’s WharfBrisbane Priority Development Area (PDA) will commence.
You are invited to make a written submission on the proposeddevelopment scheme within the period from 7 August 2015 to21 September (the submission period).
The proposed development scheme is the draft planning documentfor the PDA which sets out the land uses, development criteria andinfrastructure envisaged for the PDA.

1. “Other matters relating to a grant of legal assistance –Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service (ATSILS)”was amended to clarify arrangements around Family DisputeResolution conferences to allow ATSILS to represent applicantsor respondents at conferences where no grant of aid exists forcounsel;
2. “Other matters relating to a grant of legal assistance –Community Legal Centres” – was amended to allow communitylegal centres to represent applicants and respondents at LegalAid Family Dispute Resolution conferences and to include thefull details of the limitations on other disbursements funding tomatters where a grant of aid for counsel is approved;
3. “Review of decisions” amended the process from internal toexternal review by way of request rather than automatic referral.
The changes took effect from 25 June 2015.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHANGE COMMISSIONTOWNSVILLE CITY COUNCIL
INVITATION FOR OBJECTIONS TO THE PROPOSAL
The Townsville City Council has advised that its electoral divisionsno longer meet the quota requirements set down in the LocalGovernment Act 2009 (Act). The Minister responsible for LocalGovernment has in turn referred the matter to the LocalGovernment Change Commission for an independent assessment.
The Commission now invites written objections from interestedpersons and bodies’ relating to the council’s proposed ten electoraldivisions, to be lodged on or before 5.00pm Friday 28 August 2015.
For this phase of the review, the enrolment for Townsville CityCouncil as at 23 February 2015 is being used. The total enrolmentwas 118,919. The Commission has determined that 11,892 is thereasonable proportion of electors for an electoral division.Section 17 of the Act requires the Commission to ensure that thenumber of enrolled electors in all divisions does not differ from thisreasonable proportion by ±10%. In order to meet the enrolmentcriteria set out in the Act, the number of electors in each divisionmust be within the minimum of 10,703 and the maximum of13,081. Furthermore, the Act requires that the reasonableproportion of electors must be worked out as near as practicableto the time when the change is to happen to ensure demographicrepresentation for each division of Townsville City Council.Projected enrolment for March 2016 and February 2019 has beenused to assist with this requirement.
