The ordering process for Quest Diagnostics and LabCorp has been modified however
there may be slight differences among locations:
o Priority
STAT vs. all others
Separate Quest Diagnostics Order Requisition for STAT priority
o Order Status
Future: Order releases 7 days before of the Expected Date (in contrast to
releasing immediately for orders placed before 11/19/2020)
Standing - Subsequent Releases of orders (daily, monthly, every 2 weeks, etc.)
will NOT print an Order Requisition (only affects Standing Orders placed after
11/19/2020)
NOTE: Auto release method, Count and the Expiration Date are
required
o Order Class - Respects the purpose of the Order Class

Place the labeled specimen and the Order Requisition in the appropriate bag to be couriered. Once received the External Lab Staff will be able to match the result to the original order placed.
