 Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full

product?

I made two school magazines because this gave me more experience when making my music magazine. When researching these magazines, I used school magazines to get my ideas from and now I have learnt that regular school magazines do not follow the same layout of every other type of magazine, like music, fashion est.

LEARNING THE WAY OF THE MAGAZINE

The school magazine didn’t teach me how to layout a magazine but it did teach me how to use photoshop, This helped me because then I knew how to use layers and how to edit the photos, just generally learnt my way around photoshop. Making two school magazines was good because it made me more confident using all the things I needed use.

LAYING IT OUT!

The layout of magazines are very important, in my planning I have learnt so much about how a magazine is laid out, names for all the different parts of the layout, and how I should set it all out.Well I was doing my research I found a slide show which showed me how to lay it all out. This helped me with all the technical words.
