Which television channel do you watch the most? This shows that most

respondents said they prefer to watch Channel 4 rather

than the other possible answers. This has then

allowed us to choose this channel as we are certain that most people would

watch it/ be aware it is on the television.

At what time would you say you mostly watch television?

The most popular answer according to these results was ‘Night (8-12)’. This helped us with the time of when we will have our programme aired as we have concluded to a time of 9pm. With this time, I am

confident most people will be watching television.

These results show that the male voice is most appealing to our respondents therefore will most likely use a male voice in our documentary.

With Rock being the most popular choice from the public, we still

believe that this genre of music will sound slightly odd against the topic of the documentary. Due to this, we have looked at the top three most popular (rock, pop, all types) and will combine the three as best we

can to appeal to most of our audience and maintain parallel

sound.

This shows that blue is the most popular colour according

to our public. This will influence our choice of colour when looking at graphics and parts of the mise en scene to continuously appeal to our

audience.

What could you not live without?

A large majority of our respondents answered

‘Mobile Phones’ therefore this will help us with

interviews and people who could be obsessed with their

phone. If an interview doesn’t seem to take place

successfully or professionally, we will mention this statistic

in the voice over.

This works well alongside the previous question as a large section of the public said they couldn’t live without their mobile phone. With this information we will possibly find someone to interview and/or

mention this statistic in the voiceover.

Many people said they have an OCD therefore we will interview someone with this obsession. We will also include a shopping and celebrity obsession too as these were the second most popular

answers, therefore people watching our programme may

relate to the interviewees and their particular obsessions.

Would you say you're obsessed with a par-ticular singer, artist or band?

Most respondents said they aren’t obsessed with any particular artist. This will

help with our statistics and perhaps another interview

from someone in the minority who answered yes. This interview would then

perhaps intrigue the audience.

may help our statistics that a voice over might mention during the documentary, or we could also develop another interview from

someone who collects something specific. An interview may entice
