O I handed out my questionnaire to 10 people, and the first

question on it was a quantitative question “Are you male or

female?” The results to this question were 5 people were

female and 5 were male. This meant I got an equal opportunity

to see what each gender is interested in in a music magazines

and what they would be will to spend on the magazine. This

was important for me to know as I plan on targeting my

magazine to both genders.

O My next question was “How old are you?” this was an important

question as it meant that I could understand what age genre

would I be focusing on for my magazine. Everyone that filled in

my questionnaire were under the category of “16-18” none of

them circled “country” as they're favourite genre which meant

that I would be focusing in an older target audience

“Why would you read a music

magazine?”

O The last two questions link into each other as I wanted

to know if people like to read about the same artists the

listen to or not. I came to the conclusion that it varied

some people liked reading about different artist or band

then they listened to and others read about the same

artist or band they listened to.

“Which artist or band do you like listening to most?”

and “Which singer/ band do you like reading about

most?”
