Minimum Qualifications

• Agency providing youth-oriented

services with proven success in summer youth employment programs

• Must have current staff to administer

the program and ability to match funding for some program staff

Scope

• Provide youths with work experience– Full-time summer work

– Up to 5 weeks or maximum 192 hours

– 2-day unpaid work readiness training

– Pay minimum wage + costs listed on pg 9 (Item d)

– Distribute paychecks

– Provide participating businesses with 2-hour orientation

– Meet performance requirements listed on pg 12

Proposer Instructions

• Sealed envelope or package– Two original hard copies

• Each in a 8 ½ x 11” loose leaf 3-ring binder

• Marked “Original”

– Five electronic copies

• Proposals– Tabbed, in sequence listed in Section X

• Signed by an authorized representative

that can legally bind the proposer
