FUND RAISING UNDERTAKEN BY

QCPLMPCThe Quezon City Public Library Multi-Purpose Cooperative organized a fund rais-ing activity by selling tickets with corre-sponding prizes. Proceeds or collectionfrom this activity shall directly go for thecapital build-up of the cooperative. Thisproject is under the able supervision of Ms.May Bernal the duly constituted president of the Quezon City Multi-Purpose Cooperative.

The Quezon City Public Library Multi-Purpose Cooperative started as a humble“Paluwagan” system. However, as the yearsprogressed Ms. Blanquita Del Barrio, the former city librarian initiated as well as organ-ized to officially register the cooperative on April 12, 1996. This afforded financial assis-tance to all its members more importantly during emergency needs without any delay, encouraged members to participate when a general assembly is held every 3 rd Fridayof the month of January and provided dividends at the end of the year with 200 pesos

JOKE FOR ALL SEASON

Define agony: It's like a one armed man, hanging at the edge of a cliff by his onlyarm with his butt devastatingly itchy.

A PRAYERLet go and let God be in charge of my life and all that concerns me. I let go of anxiousstriving, I let go of doubts and discouragement. I let go of any suggestions that is up tome alone to figure out every answer to life's questions. I let go of any thought or anyfeeling that separates me from God's ever present love and care. I let go of mistakes of the past, fears of the future. I place everything in the loving care of God. I let God be incharge. God is my helper in every need, and I recognize the almightiness of my heav-enly father. I let God's strength be my strength. I let God think through my mind, speakthrough my voice, act through my hands and feet. I look to God for guidance and direc-tion, knowing that his answers are the wisest and the best power and wisdom of my life.He dwells within me, In him, I find peace, I find my home.... I find my all.
