Once you have confirmed a booking with your venue directly, you can search your venue in the box below and link with them to continue you registration. Please note that you need to have a booking made directly with a venue before continuing on. AVR is not the place to make initial conversation about booking a venue. Are you expecting to receive any ticketing income? - Yes / No, this is a free event

If yes Agreement Adelaide Fringe is now offering the ability to arrange a split settlement with your venue in AVR. If you don’t have a split payment arrangement with your venue, please leave the percentage as 100% to the event. Adelaide Fringe will pay the nominated percentage and/or flat fee individually to each party (Presenter and Venue) after your season has ended. Please be aware Adelaide Fringe can only settle a percentage or flat fee to individual parties. If you have another arrangement with your venue (i.e. $5 of every ticket sold) you will need to settle that directly with your venue outside of Adelaide Fringe. Any fees entered here will be taken out the event’s settlement at the end of the season. If you do not enter any percentage or fees here to be taken out of settlement, Adelaide Fringe is not liable for any fees or payments between parties not made. If you would like to settle any fees or charges directly with your venue you will not need to enter any information here. The spilt will be settled by Adelaide Fringe assuming that all deposits, payments and charges have been paid. Both parties are required to approve the details of the split and both will receive full reportage on the season as a whole, once completed. By agreeing upon a split settlement with your venue, FringeTIX will enable both the registering party and the venue access to sales reports for this event. Enter any flat fees and/or charges above or below the split and fees will be taken out before (above) or after (below) the split Percentage split: Event/Venue [Enter agreed ratio] Bank & Tax Settlement Info You will need to complete the tax and bank details below if you expect to receive any ticketing income Do you have an ABN or are you required to obtain an ABN?

TICKETING

Setup

Ticketing Explained How to build your dates, times and prices The following is where you will enter your dates, times, and prices for your event. Make sure you have read FringeTIX 101 in the Resources section before you proceed. Do not continue until you have confirmed your session time and dates with your venue. Adding holding dates and times becomes confusing for yourself and your venue as they receive notification of the addition of this information. So wait to proceed if you have not agreed upon your pricing and session info. To complete the ticketing module you will need to create your sessions in groups. Different groups are required for different sessions only if there is a change in either venue or time or price. Here are a few examples of combinations of different groups:

1. If your event is at one venue at the same time with the same price types across your entire season you will only need to create one group and you will enter all dates and price types within that one group.

2. If your event is at two different venues you will need to create two different groups for the sessions at each venue. Please be aware of the capacity of your event at each venue as you will need to enter it here.

3. If your event is on at 6pm on Wed-Thurs & Sunday and at 7pm on Fri-Sat you will need to create two different groups for each time. You can create a group for all Wed-Thurs & Sunday sessions (you do not need to create two different groups across these days) and then a second group for Fri-Sat sessions.

4. If you want to charge $25 on Fri-Sat sessions and $20 on all other sessions you would create two different groups for each group of dates with the differing price types.

5. You can of course have a combination of all off the above in which case you would need to be careful about how many session groups you create and not overlap. If you are having difficulties adding groups, please contact the Artist & Venue team and we can help you through it. [email protected] or +61 08 8100 2022 Once you create a session group you will see a review of that group and any other groups you may have added, you can then add another session group or continue to the next page. The last step in the ticketing module is to review all your sessions in the final review page, these sessions will then be sent to the venue for approval. TOP TICKETING TIPS

- Add a discounted Preview price to the first 2 or 3 sessions to get bums on seats early. - If you apply a Cheap Tuesday price to a session it should be the only price type for that session.

Page 15: QUICK CLICK GUIDE · -Try not to repeat your event title in the copy, you have limited space and its already at the top.-If adding a star review please copy and paste this star symbol

- Don’t sell yourself short with too many discounts. Don’t apply every discount possible to your event on every day, never forget that sometimes simple is best.

- A Group of 6+ price type is entered as the discounted price per person. - A Family price type is entered as the total discounted price for 4 people (2 adults, 2 children OR 1

adult and 3 children). - Fringe Member, BankSA and Passholder discount pricing is applied at a session level and not at an

event level. This means you are able to allocate how many tickets to sell at this discounted price per individual session. This should be consistent across your whole season.

- If you have entered in your times, dates, and prices and are waiting on the venue to approve them in order to finalise your registration, get in touch with them! Let them know you are waiting and that you need your sessions approved.
