Opening the rear

Turning on the
phone – Step 1From the front view of the phone,
you’ll find the lower right corner
has a button as where the thumb
is pointing in the photo. This is the
on/off button.

seconds and the phone should
start up. Once screen starts up,
stop pressing on the on/off button.

home screen –
Step 1At any point you want to get back
to the home screen to use the
phone easily, just press this on/off
button quickly and let go. It should
bring you back to your home
screen.

Where to charge
the phone?This is where you find the USB
charging connector on the phone.
Gently pries open the port plastic
cover. Use your previous
Samsung phone charger to
carefully connect to this phone for
charging.
Volume control
buttonsThese buttons are for volume
control. Press up or down to
increase speaker volume to hear
louder or softer when talking with
someone over the phone.
These buttons are also very
useful to help you scroll up or
down a menu screen to avoid
using your favorite finger on
screen which could be clumsy. I
use these buttons to avoid using
finger on screen to scroll up or
down screen menus.

When phone
becomes slow or
battery draining
faster than usualPress and hold the “center black
diamond” looking button on
phone. This will bring up the task
screen to tell you what are the
apps running concurrently on the
phone. Apps you don’t use should
be terminated from running
otherwise it drains battery, slows
down the phone and causes
heating to the phone too.

Ending tasks –
Step 1Select the screen button to end
task to terminate apps running in
background you no longer need to
use.

you know you need no longer
keep it running in background.
Power off the
phonePress and hold this on/off button
to turn off your phone. This will
only work when you are in the
home screen. Only in home
screen you can press power
on/off button to turn off your
phone.
