From your PC or Mac, go to http://online.vu-it.tv/. Sign in, and select the TiVo box that should receive the recording request. Then simply pick the TV show you wish to record, choose a recording option, and your request will be sent! For detailed instructions, go to support.westmancom.com.Note: Live TV and recordings cannot be watched in the web portal at this time.When watching live TV on a device, TiVo will also record the program.

To locate your TiVo Service Number (TSN#):• Go to Messages and Settings on the TiVo Central menu.• Scroll down to Account and System menu.• Select System Information• Find the TiVo Service Number assigned to your box.

TiVo® provides endless entertainment possibilities with tons of choices from VU-IT! On Demand, YouTube™, photos, live TV and your recorded shows. Plus an intelligent search and up to 6X the recording space of a regular DVR. The TiVo Central screen is the MAIN MENU and starting point for all your TiVo features and settings.
TiVo CentralThe TiVo Central® screen is the starting point for just about everything you do with your DVR or TiVo Mini. From the TiVo Central screen, you can see a list of your recordings, find new shows to watch, and more. To get to the TiVo Central screen from live TV or any TiVo screen, just press the TiVo button at the top of your TiVo remote control. Use the UP , DOWN , LEFT , and RIGHT arrows on the remote to move around, then press the SELECT button on an option that interests you.
My Shows All your recorded or downloaded programs. My Shows is the first menu item on the TiVo Central screen. Here you’ll find all of your recorded and downloaded shows and all of your TiVo Suggestions. Hint: You can get to the My Shows list by pressing on your remote control twice.
What to Watch NowSpend less time searching for great live TV and more time enjoying it. The What to Watch Now feature allows you to browse popular content based on what people across the country are tuning into or what’s relevant right now. Only in the mood for a movie tonight? What to Watch Now allows you to narrow down your live TV search rather than sifting through all your TV content by separating what’s on now into categories that include Popular TV, Movies, Sports and Kids. This guide features full poster art for all programming, giving you a quick visual glimpse into each show, assisting you with your selection.
Watching showsLive TV: Return to live TV at any time. Press the LIVE TV button on your Westman TiVo remote to watch live TV. Press LIVE TV again to switch tuners.
Parental Controls: Controlling access is easy. Restrict access to shows based on their ratings or simply restrict certain channels. From the TiVo Central screen, select Settings & Messages > Parental Controls.
Pay-Per-View: Easily order the events you don’t want to miss. Remote access to PPV content not available at this time. To order PPV events, please phone 204.725.4300 or 1.800.665.3337.
Getting recommendations means there is always something to watch!
TiVo® Suggestions:Record shows that match your preferences. Based on the ratings you give to shows and movies, TiVo Suggestions automatically selects and records new content on your TiVo. It’s a great way to make new discoveries. Don’t worry, TiVo Suggestions won’t override your own recordings or steal valuable disk space. If you choose to auto-record TiVo Suggestions, you’ll find a list of recorded TiVo Suggestions in your My Shows list. TiVo Suggestions are marked with a
Suggestions icon.®
Note: To turn off automatic recording of TiVo Suggestions, go to TiVo Central screen, select Settings & Messages > Settings > Recording > TiVo Suggestions > Select “No don’t record TiVo Suggestions”. When Automatic recording is on (the default), TiVo Suggestion may be recorded if there’s available space. Remember, recordings you schedule will never be deleted to make room for Suggestions. Also, if space is needed for your recordings, Suggestions are the first shows to be deleted.
On Demand. Takes you to the main screen for video-on-demand options. NOTE: Not yet available.
TiVo. Takes you to the TiVo Central® screen, the starting point for all TiVo features and settings.
Input. Selects the input your TV displays (such as DVD player, game system).
Volume and Mute. If programmed, control the volume on your TV or A/V receiver.
Rewind. Rewinds a show. Press up to three times for three speeds.
Pause. Freezes a show. Press again to resume playing.
Slow. Plays a show in slow motion.
Replay. Repeats the last eight seconds of the show. Press and hold to jump to the beginning of a show.
Clear. Removes display of info banner or program guide and deletes titles from My Shows or To Do list.
Fast-Forward. Fast-forwards through a show. Press up to three times for three speeds.
Advance. Moves forward in 30-second increments. Press and hold to jump to the end of the show. Press to jump to the next tick mark when fast-forwarding or rewinding.
Enter/Last. Returns to last channel viewed in Live TV.
TV PWR. If programmed, turns your TV on or off.

Guide. Takes you to the program guide, where you can find shows to watch or record. Press again to see filtered views.
A, B, C, D. Sort and filter views. Look for the on-screen tips.
Netflix app.Netflix One click takes you to the
Back. Goes back to the previous screen (in certain apps).
Live TV. Takes you to Live TV. If you’re watching Live TV, use it to cycle through the tuners.
Channel Up/Down. Change the channel and page up or down while in the program guide or TiVo menus.
Record. Starts recording the show you’re watching, or sets up a recording for a show selected in the program guide.
Arrows. Navigate TiVo menus and program guide.
Play. Starts playing a show from the My Shows list.
Exit. Takes you back to the section you were in previously.
Info. Shows the info banner while watching Live TV. Press again to make it disappear.
Select. Choose menu items. When watching Live TV, press to bring up the Mini Guide.
Search. Goes directly to the searchmenu.
To program your TiVo remote, press theTiVo button to go to TiVo Central, thenselect Settings & Messages > Settings >Remote, CableCARD, & Devices >Remote Control Setup. Follow the easyon-screen instructions.

Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down.Rate shows, collections, or video providers for TiVo Suggestions.
Discovery Bar: Get personalized recommendations. The Discovery Bar is the bar of thumbnail images across the top of TiVo Central. The Discovery Bar helps you find new shows that are similar to shows you’ve recorded. And it doesn’t contain only shows. You’ll also find thumbnails for actors, collections of related shows, and more. Press
the arrow to move up to the Discovery Bar, then the and arrows to
move around. Press on an image that interests you to open an information screen about that item.
Finding & Recording ShowsSearch: Find what you love to watch. From the TiVo Central screen, select Find TV, Movies & Videos, then select Search. Enter a few letters of the show title or actor’s name, and the TiVo service searches across live TV, VU-IT! On Demand and online apps like YouTube to find matches.
Guide: Find out what’s on TV now... or later! Press the GUIDE button on your TiVo remote to find what’s on right now, and what’s coming up. Use the arrow keys to move around the guide. Press FORWARD and BACK to move right or left one page at a time. Press ADVANCE to move 24 hours ahead and REPLAY
to move 24 hours back.
WishList® searches: Find shows that match your areas of interest. Search by actor, director, keyword or category, and every time a show’s title or description matches your criteria, it’s recorded for you. From the TiVo Central screen, select Find TV, Movies & Videos, then select WishList searches.
OnePass®: Find every episode - no matter where it happens to be. To set up a OnePass select a show you want to watch and select the “Create a OnePass” option. Shows can be selected from various places, including search results and from the guide. If you would like to change the options for your OnePass, click on “Options.” One Pass allows you to save all your current and future recordings as well as links to streaming content in a My Shows folder. In addition, One Pass organizes all of your shows by starting with any season of your choosing. Press on your remote until you find the seasons option.
VU-IT! On Demand: An amazing array of entertainment options. Access a vast library of On Demand movies and TV shows from the On Demand catalog.Press the button on your remote to get to TiVo Central, then select Find TV, Movies, & Videos and select VU-IT!
