QUICK START FOR FIRST TIME USE

HOW TO USE THE BIKE

The Cento1 Hybrid can be used both as a normal road bike and with assisted pedalling active. Assisted pedalling can be activated / selected using the iWOC button located on the top tube near the handlebar. For a more interactive experience with the Cento1 Hybrid, we recommend downloading and using the eBikeMotion App.

Before use, carefully read the Wilier Triestina User Manual and the eBikeMotion Quick Guides, which you were given along with the Cento1 Hybrid.

FIRST STEPS FOR USING YOUR CENTO1 HYBRID

Check that the battery on your Cento1 Hybrid is sufficiently charged before use.

To charge the battery:

1. Connect the charger you were given when you received the bike to a power outlet.

2. Connect the charger to the charging socket on your Cento1 Hybrid (B).

Be careful to insert the plug correctly: the arrows present on both parts (plug and socket) must line up; once the cable has been connected to the charging socket, we recommend stabilising the connection by tightening the safety ring.

3. Disconnect the bike from the charger once the iWOC button located on the top tube (A) of the frame begins to blink with a white light (this means that the battery is over 75% charged). You can get a specific reading of the battery level at any time by checking the eBikeMotion app.

4. Your Cento1 Hybrid is now ready for use. To turn on the system press the iWOC button. The LED will come

on with a fixed light, indicating the battery level:

SELECTING THE LEVEL OF ASSISTANCE

The Cento1 Hybrid can be used in active mode by using the iWOC button located on the frame's top tube. Three different levels of assisted pedalling are available: when the system is turned on, by lightly pressing the iWOC button, the LED light will blink with a colour that represents the level of assistance currently active:

green = soft level 1 yellow = intermediate level 2 red = max level 3 white = no assisted pedalling. The level of assistance can be changed (even while pedalling).

1. Lightly press the iWOC button to activate the selection system (the light will blink). 2. While the light is blinking, select the desired level of assistance by pressing lightly.

To deactivate assisted pedalling, press the iWOC button for 3 seconds: the LED light will blink twice before turning off. The system turns off automatically after an hour if is not being used.

USING THE CENTO1 HYBRID WITH THE EBIKEMOTION APP

The eBikeMotion app was created to give you access to "smart" use of your Cento1 Hybrid. The app will allow you to monitor your activity and will provide a complete overview of your performance.

INSTALLING THE APP

Download the eBikeMotion APP to your smartphone or tablet (icon with azure background). You can find the app on the Google PlayStore (for Android) or APP Store (for iOS).

WARNING: some Android versions are not yet compatible with the “eBikeMotion” app.

REGISTRATION

Register using your choice of credentials (e-mail and password) or through Facebook: the first time you log in, input the details for your new account. If you choose to use an e-mail address for the account, you will be asked to verify the address: check your e-mail inbox. Remember that registration is necessary in order to be able to use the APP.

The eBikeMotion application is available for smartphones, which can be used for outdoor activities, and as a web version (for a full overview of your data and your routes after the training session).

The web version can be viewed using a PC or Mac and an internet connection. To log in visit the following website https://www.wilier.ebikemotion.com/ (warning, some computers may block access to this page considering it unsafe. Check your safety settings to confirm that the page is reliable) once you have reached the page, you will need to use your credentials to log in.

When using the web version automatic synchronisation with Strava can be activated to synchronise data registered using eBikeMotion. Visit the account details section on eBikeMotion and select automatic connection with Strava.

You can record your activities through the smartphone version.

Your smartphone will connect to the Cento1 Hybrid using Bluetooth:

1. Check that bluetooth is active on your smartphone. 2. Activate the Cento1 Hybrid and open the eBikeMotion

APP 3. Go to “settings” and check that “EBM compatible” has

been selected.

When using the APP on iOS the bike will connect automatically (check that the correct Cento1 Hybrid has been connected, since the system will connect to the first bike available with an eBikeMotion system, including non-Wilier Triestina bikes). When using Android the bike will need to be paired manually, by selecting “Connect to EBM”.

Once the connection has been established you may begin to use your Cento1 Hybrid; if you wish to record the activity, select “start activity”: you will be able to record GPS data and view other information such as the level of assistance, your speed, a description of the route and much more.

Once the activity is complete select “stop activity”, then save and complete the data for the activity (name, description of the route, etc...).

WARNINGS

• Should the battery require maintenance or need to be replaced refer to your trusted dealer. • We recommend exclusively using 8 mm screws to attach a bottle to the down tube of your Cento1 Hybrid. The

use of longer screws may jeopardise the integrity of the battery. Screws used to fix the battery to the down tube must also be no longer than 8 mm; use washers to adjust the length.

• We advise against cleaning the Cento1 Hybrid with equipment that sprays water at high pressures, as this may jeopardise the electrical devices present. Be sure that the plug for the charging socket is hermetically sealed when washing. When the Cento1 Hybrid is attached externally to a car or camper for transportation, protect the bike and electronic components with the appropriate protective covers. Avoid exposing the iWoc button to dust or water.

• Battery autonomy depends on how the bike is used. Given normal use, the bike can travel an estimated 100 km with a maximum incline of 1500 m. The battery requires an estimated three and a half hours to charge fully.

• If boring holes, follow the visual instructions provided in the Quick Guide Connection & Mount, X35 system. • Components for the Cento1 Hybrid are paired with the frame number. If a component is replaced, it must once

again be paired with the frame using software available at technical service centres and authorised Wilier shops. Refer to one of these locations to complete the replacement of the component. Do not disassemble or alter the product, use the Cento1 Hybrid in compliance with local laws and regulations.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Do not deform, modify or disassemble the batter to avoid triggering leaks, overheating or explosion of the battery. If any liquid that has leaked from the battery comes into contact with your eyes, immediately rinse the affected area with fresh water without rubbing your eyes and immediately consult a physician.

• Do not leave the battery near sources of heat. • Do not subject the battery to strong shocks, do not place the battery in water and never allow the terminal to

get wet. • To charge the internal battery, use the eBikeMotion charger that was provided when you bought the bike. Do

not connect the plug in wet conditions. If any water comes out of the plug, dry carefully before connecting. If the battery fails to charge completely after charging for 6 hours, immediately disconnect the plug to stop charging the battery and contact an authorised Wilier Triestina centre.

• Charge the battery in locations that are sheltered from the weather.
