DocuSign complements this modern lifestyle by providing all the features you need to manage your account and enabling you to bank easily on the go.

What is DocuSign?

e-Signatures allow Citibank customers to review and sign documents electronically, and submit in hours - not days - anytime, anywhere, on any device.

DocuSign is a safe and convenient solution that is: Established: DocuSign is the only eSignature company that is ISO 27001 certified as an information security management system (ISMS). This is the highest level of global information security assurance available today, and provides customers with the assurance that DocuSign meets stringent international standards on security.Secure: Every client will have to pass a two factor authentication before they can view or sign on the document electronically. Auditable: DocuSign provides a complete and extensive audit trail that serves as third-party validation of transaction completion, including information such as the signer’s email address, name, authentication method, IP address with time stamp, and more.

Eligibility Requirements Client Eligibility

• DocuSign can be used only with Citibank Singapore Limited International Personal Bank clients who have a valid system registered email address and mobile number.

• The existing Terms & Conditions signed by the client(s) during the initial account opening process apply to the DocuSign digital transaction management process.

• DocuSign process can be used for SOLE, JOINT/OR, JOINT/AND, PIC/TRUSTS accounts.

• For PIC/TRUSTS, the transaction can be signed through the DocuSign process by the authorized signatories for the relationship.

• For transactions executed under a JOINT/OR relationship, it would suffice if any one of the account holders signs the transaction electronically through the DocuSign process.

• For JOINT/AND relationship, all account holders must sign the document electronically through the DocuSign process.

To start the DocuSign process, you will receive an email from your Relationship Manager to review the document.

Steps to Reviewing Document

Step 1: Accessing the Document

Click on the link REVIEW DOCUMENT

The link opens a secure DocuSign website where client will be required to perform a two-factor authentication.

The first factor authentication will be an access code. Client should have received this access code from the Relationship Manager. If not, client may contact the Relationship Manager for it.

Step 2: Authentication

The second factor authentication is the SMS OTP. A dynamic One Time PIN is generated and sent to your mobile number when the “Send SMS” link is clicked.

Step 3: Consent Required On successfully clearing the two factor authentication, a “CONSENT TO ELECTRONIC RECEIPT OF ELECTRONIC RECORD AND SIGNATURE“ is presented. You are required to agree to the same before the DocuSign document is available for you to review/sign.

Step 4: Reviewing and Signing the Document

At this point the underlying document is available for review on click of “START”. DocuSign allows the client to navigate the document either by clicking “NEXT” or scrolling. On click of “NEXT”, the navigation sequence is every page and every data input or signature field within the page.

Signature fields are indicated with the icon . On clicking the icon for the first time, the client will be shown the style of signature and initial(s) that will be applied to the document.

On click of “Continue” the customer can “ADOPT & SIGN”. This makes the selected signature or initial style default for all future signatures within the envelope.

Step 5: Completing the Review You can continue work on the document and when complete click on FINISH. DocuSign will not allow the client to click on FINISH, if some mandatory field or signature is missing.

The document will expire within 14 days from the date of sending (or earlier if a transaction is required to be completed within a certain time) and an email reminder will be triggered daily if you have not yet acted on it.

After signing and submitting the document, you can now view/download/print the document for future reference, if required.

Our Relationship Managers will be able to guide you through this secure process of reviewing and signing the banking documents for your transactions with us.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is electronic signature? An electronic signature, or eSignature, means an electronic method used to identify

a person and to indicate the intention of that person in respect of the information contained in a record.

2. How is my electronic signature captured? The electronic signature is a pre-defined ARIAL font signature of your name as well

as your initials on the document. Each electronic signature is unique, encrypted using industry standard hashing algorithms.

3. Do I need any special software to be able to use DocuSign? The solution can work with desktops, laptops, tablets and smart phones with an

internet connection. You do not require any software to be installed. The only requirement is your email address and mobile number registered with the bank and a browser.

4. Is it safe? eSignature ensures documents are tamper-proof, avoids forgery and minimizes

human errors in processing. eSignature Provides encryption, audit-trail and electronic retention of documents with the Bank.

5. Is DocuSign’s electronic signature trustworthy? Established: DocuSign is the only eSignature company that is ISO 27001 certified

as an information security management system (ISMS). This is the highest level of global information security assurance available today, and provides customers with the assurance that DocuSign meets stringent international standards on security.

7. How much do I have to pay for eSignature facility? This service is provided at no charge to enhance your digital transaction management

experience.

8. How can I request for this service? You can speak to your Relationship Manager to initiate this for your eligible fund

transactions.

9. Is electronic signature offered only for investment funds? How about other investment products related documents?

We are working on extending IPB DocuSign electronic signature capability to other investment product transactions which will be made available to you soon.

10. Can I still continue to use Fax and/or Scanner to wet-ink sign my documents? While we would like you to go paperless and digital in your transaction management,

you can request your Relationship Manager to send your transaction related document via email attachment. You could then print, sign and fax or scan back the documents to your Relationship Manager.

11. How do I safeguard against on-line security vulnerabilities? Please ensure you receive DocuSign envelopes only in your registered email address.

Do not share with or forward your email with DocuSign envelopes to others. Your access code and mobile number required for two-factor authentication must not be shared with others as well. If your email address is compromised, please do not open or eSign the DocuSign envelope. Please call Citibank immediately and update your new registered email and/or your mobile number with us.
