Greetings!
I hope this message finds you all well.
I would like to begin by inviting you to our Annual

year’s recipient of the Distinguished Performance in Management award is Keith

and business and his philanthropy centers upon one single mission: help as many
people as possible, as often as possible. Since 2005, Dr. Leaphart, has practiced
medicine at the Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
In 2009, Dr. Leaphart became CEO and President of Replica Creative, a design
firm that he developed into a full-service business-to-business provider of
corporate, academic and financial design services. Dr. Leaphart’s work in medicine
and entrepreneurship has earned him the nickname Philadelphia’s “Doctorpreneuer.”

This Spring the Business school continued with its commitment to high school
students from the surrounding communities. Asst. Dean Hoopes organized a
successful Academic Workshop for Young Women. Speakers included Wanda
Henderson, Director of Sales UPS, Judge Demetrica Todd Ruiz and Dr. Donna
McCloskey who inspired over 100 enthusiastic young women about becoming
tomorrow’s business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and philanthropists.

Academic Workshop for Young Women
On Friday February 23rd, the School of Business Administration hosted an Academic
Workshop for Young Women. This day is an opportunity for young women to attend a
workshop focused on leadership, networking, and picking a major.
One of the attendees, Kathy Hennelly MBA and K-12 Department Supervisor for
Cinnaminson School District, had this to say about the event: “What a wonderful day
today! Your efforts to show female high school students the importance of being brave in
every aspect of their lives so resonated with our girls. The panel discussion showed them
women's career paths both traditional and not. Having the students brainstorm and speak to
the over 80 young ladies in attendance enhanced their appreciation of the value of interacting
with other women. Couple your theme of "Women Helping Women" with the access to
professors, industry representatives, graduate and undergraduate students, and you gave us all
a memorable and impactful experience.”
