The braces are off the building and everything looks new and shiny. . So come on down and do not be fooled, we are still in the same place as we have been for the last 15 years! Yes, we are again doing our bus trip to PIQF on Saturday October 17 th and there are still a few openings. If you have been before, you know how much fun it is. Bring a friend, shop until you drop and nap on the way home. You rest and have fun, we do all the hard stuff. We will be having an After Thanksgiving and Small Business Sale again. The dates are Friday and Saturday November 27 th and 28 th . Everything on the floor will be 20% off. This will be a great opportunity for you to shop for those last minute Christmas gifts and supplies . We have a new club starting in October on the first Saturday. Donna Dale will be the instructor. We have ordered an entire line of fabric from Windham called Kindred Spirits exclusively for the group. They come with a fun set of patterns designed especially for the fabrics. These will only be offered to the club participants. The colors and designs are from the mid 1800’s and are reminiscent of the era. Get in on the ground floor and sign up now. By request, we are branching out on our fabric choices from traditional to modern. One example is a new line from Moda called Zen Chic. It has very clean lines and an urban vibe. It is feminine, but has strong colors and a dynamic design typical of the German designer. It comes with a collection of background fabrics in hues of white, cream and linen that have fabulous prints of newspaper, architectural designs and hand written prose. As usual, our batiks are exploding off the shelves. They cannot be contained, so they Sometimes end up on our sales benches. You need to come in frequently to catch these excellent sales! Kaffe Fassett has grown in popularity. Many of our loyal quilters have asked for more so we have responded. We will be ordering double our normal bolts and expanding the Kaffe section to accommodate our customers. We hear you! No, we have not forgotten the traditionalist. Of course we have many samples and pat- terns to give you inspiration as to how to use these wonderful fabrics. Come in and meet the teachers and see the new samples for classes at our OPEN HOUSE on Sunday, October 4th, from 12- 4 P.M. Looking forward to seeing you all. Our facelift is almost over. Hurray! The braces are off the building and everything looks

Class Policy: Pre-registration is required for all classes. Once payment has been received, you are considered enrolled. At that time, you will receive an information sheet. Occasionally, clas-ses do not take place as planned, so please wait until you are certain the class will go before buying supplies. Cancellations are accepted up to 7 days before the class begins, with a store credit given, good

for one year or a refund. If Quilters’ Corner cancels a class, you may take a store credit or a refund.

is a new on-going pattern club designed by

Jill Shaulis and Vickie Olsen featuring the primitive

style they are known for and the fabric Jill

designed for Windham fabrics. New pattern

designs available every 6 months and new fabrics

every 9 months.

The $30 enrollment fee allows you to purchase

exclusive club patterns and kits every month.

Meetings are scheduled the first Saturday of the

month starting at noon with an optional sew time for

$10 to work on projects.

Your hostess will be Donna Dale, who is known

around Quilters’ Corner for her many small projects

and her piecing skills
