To cope with changing weather conditions and reflected glare the correct lens choiceis important. Finding a single lens style that suits changing weather conditions can be a challenge.Photochromic lenses are beneficial in changing light conditions. Amber lenses willincrease contrast on a dull day and green lenses allow for some contrast enhancement

There are many different cycling sports andpastimes, each presenting challenges forimprovement of visual quality and eyeprotection. Protection from the elements isimportant and wraparound or side protectionframes are an advantage. Peripheral awarenessis vital to safety, especially in todays busytraffic environments, and broad sided styles may impede vision. Our frame and lenspackages include products that solve these problems. DARK GREY 85% ABS - A neutral colour suitable for all outdoor sports giving sunprotection whilst retaining natural colour balance.DARK BROWN 85% ABS - blocks a high percentage of blue light. Gives enhanced contrastand reduces light levels in bright sunlight. Suitable for most outdoor sports.DARK GREEN 85% ABS - Blocks out most blue light. Provides a more natural vision withexcellent contrast between colours.PALE YELLOW 10% ABS - Excellent for very dull low light conditions. Suitable for anysport where added contrast is needed both indoors and outdoors.YELLOW 20% ABS - High contrast in poor light and filters blue light. For indoor andoutdoor use. Popular for shooting, fishing, cycling and winter sports.ORANGE 35% ABS - More subdued than yellow but still gives excellent contrast andblocks blue light.AMBER 65% ABS - Gives improved contrast in brighter conditions whilst filtering bluelight. Where a prescription range is quoted the powers given are an estimate and higherpowers may be possible. We are happy to quote you on those occasions. Lens materialswill be supplied according to the use of the product and as available from our listedrange.

PROTECTIVE GOGGLES are supplied with either trivex or polycarbonate safety lenses foroptimum protection. These are available in clear, Infinity colours, photochromic,polarised and photo-polarised.

GENERAL SPORTS EYEWEAR (lower impact risk) - For durability and safety we supplythese frames in either trivex or polycarbonate as standard. For higher prescriptionseither 1.67 or 1.74 may be possible in certain lens types.

SPORTS WRAPS (Direct Glaze 8 base) - For glazing directly to the frame we can supply anyof the lenses from the ARENA range. Please refer to the ARENA brochure for moreinformation.

SPORTS WRAPS with Rx INSERT - Prescription lenses can be supplied in all plasticmaterials from 1.498 to 1.74 index depending on size etc.

NOTES ON ORDERING.For the products shown in this catalogue we provide a full prescription service includingframe at a competitive price. We do not sell empty frames for self glazing. Samples areavailable for review or fitting prior to placing an order and will be charged on a proformabasis for stock control purposes. We will not invoice you fully until the completedprescription order is despatched or unless the sample is not returned. For non return ofsamples where a prescription order has not been received we may charge a cost to coveradmin and a reasonable margin. This process and associated charges may be modified forregular orders.
