    3. The Master of the Day of Judgment.

  • You alone we ask for help. tG n 5. Guide us tothe straight path. $ t $# x u_9 $#

    t )tG 9 $# 6. The path of those upon whomYou have bestowed favor, not of those who earn Your anger, nor of those who are astray.

    0 ! $# uq 9$# m 9$# In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

  • 1. Have We not opened up for you your breast.

    s9 r& yun y7 s9 x8 u|

    2. And We removed from you your burden.

    $ u | u u t x8u

    3. Which had weighed down your back.

    % ! $# us) r& x8 t s

    4. And We exalted for you your renown.

    $ u su u y7 s9 x8 t.

    5. Then indeed, along with hardship, there is ease.

    6. Indeed, along ) y t 9 $# #Z

  • with hardship, there is ease. 7. So when you have finished (duties), then stand (worship).

    8. And to your Lord turn (your) attention.

    nG9 $# AtTeen 0 ! $# uq9 $# m9 $#

    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful1. By the fig and the olive.

  • 2. And the Mount Sinai.

    u t 3. And this city of security (Makkah).

    4. Certainly, We have created man in the finest of moulds.

    5. Then We reversed him to the lowest of low.

    6. Except those who believe and do righteous deeds. So for them is a reward

    ) t% !$# (#t#u (#= xu Mys= 9 $#

  • without end. 7. Then what can deny you, after this, as to the judgment.

    8. Is not Allah the most just of judges.

    } s9 r& ! $# / s3mr' / t 3pt:$#

    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful1. Indeed, We sent it down (the

  • Quran) in the Night of Power.

    s)9 $# 2. And what do you know what the Night of Power is.

    !$ tu y71 ur& $ t 's# s9 s)9 $#

    3. The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.

    's# s9 s)9 $# y{ i # 9 r& 9 y

    4. The angels and the Spirit descend in it, by the permission of their Lord with each decree.

  • (night), until the appearance of the dawn.

    M t y9 $# AlAdiat 0 ! $# uq9 $# m9 $#

    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful1. By the (horses) who run with panting (breath).

    2. Then strike sparks (by hoofs).

    M t 9 $$ s % Zn s% 3. Then charge suddenly in the morning.

  • 4. Then raise up thereby dust.

    t rOr' s / $ \ )t 5. Then penetrate thereby into the midst (of enemy) collectively.

    z y us / $ sd

    6. Indeed, mankind is ungrateful to his Lord.

    ) z |M} $# n/ t9 s3 s9

    7. And indeed, he himself is a witness to that.

    )u 4 n? t y7 9 s y s9

    8. And indeed,for the love of the worldly wealth, he is intense.

    )u b=s 9 s:$# t s9

  • 9. Does He not know when shall be brought out that which is in the graves.

    10. And shall be made manifest that which is in the breasts.

    11. Indeed, their Lord on that Day shall be well informed of them.

  • 0 ! $# uq9 $# m9 $# In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful 1. The striking calamity.

    t $ s)9 $# 2. What is the striking calamity.

    $ t t $ s) 9 $#

    3. And what do you know what is the striking calamity.

    !$ tu y71 ur& $ t t $ s)9 $#

    4. The Day when people shall be like scattered moths.

    t t 3t $ 9 $# # tx 9 $$ 2

    ^Z 6 y9 $# 5. And the mountains shall

  • be like carded wool.

    9 $$ 2 \ y 9 $#

    6. Then as for one whose scales areheavy.

    $r' s t M n=) rO ut

    7. So he shall bein a state of pleasure.

    u s 7 t 7u#

    8. And as for one whose scales are light.

    $ r&u t M yz ut

    9. So his refuge shall be the deep pit (Hell).

    ' s t $ y

    10. And what do !$ tu y71 ur& $ t u

  • you know what that is. 11. Raging Fire. $ t 8u% tn

    O%s3 G9$# AtTakasur 0 ! $# uq 9 $# m 9 $#

    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful1. The mutual rivalry for (worldly) increase diverts you.

    39 y 9 r& O% s3G9 $#

    2. Until you visit the graves.

    4 L ym n t/$ s)y 9 $#

  • 3. Nay, you shall soon know.

    x. y tn= s?

    4. Then nay, you shall soon know.

    O x. t y t n= s?

    5. Nay, if you knew with a sure knowledge.

    x. s9 t n=s? z= ) u 9 $#

    6. You shall surely see Hell.

    utIs9 z spg:$# 7. Then you shall see it with the eye of certainty.

    O $ p utIs9 t ) u 9 $#

    8. Then, you shall surely be

    0 ! $# uq9 $# m9 $# In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful1. By the time. y 9 $#u 2. Indeed, man is in loss.

    3. Except those who believed and

  • did righteous deeds, and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.

    (#= t u M ys= 9 $# (# |#us? u d,ys9 $$ / (# |#us? u 9 9 $$ /

    t yS9 $# AlHumazah 0 ! $# uq9 $# m9 $#

    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful 1. Woe to every slanderer, backbiter.

    2. Who gathers wealth and

  • counts it. yt u 3. He thinks thathis wealth will make him last forever.

    4. Nay, he will surely be thrown into the crushing place.

    x. ( xt6 . s9 yst: $#

    5. And what do you know what the crushing place is.

    ys t:$# 6. The Fire of Allah, kindled.

    $ t !$# ys% 9 $# 7. Which leaps up over the

    L 9 $# = s? n? t

  • hearts. y F{$# 8. Indeed, upon them it will be closed down.

    9. In columns, stretched forth.

    9 $# AlFeel

    0 ! $# uq9 $# m9 $# In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful 1. Have you not considered how your Lord dealt

  • with the people of the elephant. 2. Did He not make their plot (to end) in vain.

    s9 r& y g s / y x. 9 = s?

    3. And He sent down on them birds in flocks.

    y r&u n=t # s /$ t/r&

    4. Striking them with stones of baked clay.

    s? ;u$ yt2 i 9 d

    5. Then He made them like straw eaten (by cattle).

    n=y pgm 7# yx. 2 '

  • C t% Quraish 0 ! $# uq9 $# m9 $#

    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

    1. For the accustomed security of the Quraish.

    2. Their accustomed security to the journeys in the winter and the summer.

  • 3. So they should worship the Lord of this House.

    (# 6 u =s > u #x y M t79 $#

    4. Who has fed them against hunger, and made them secure from fear.

    $ y 9 $# AlMaoon 0 ! $# uq9 $# m9 $#

    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful1. Have you seen him who denies the Recompense.

  • 2. For that is he who drives away the orphan.

    9 xs % !$# t z Ku9 $#

    3. And does not encourage upon the feeding of the poor.

    u ts 4 n? t $ y s 3 9 $#

    4. Then woe unto those who pray.

    5. Those who are heedless of their prayer.

    t % !$# t E | t$ y

    6. Those who (do good) to be seen.

    t % !$# !#t

  • 7. And withhold small kindnesses (from the people).

    rOs3 9 $# AlKausar 0 ! $# uq9 $# m9 $#

    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

    1. Indeed, We have granted you (Muhammad) AlKausar.

    !$ ) o s r& trOs39 $#

    2. So pray to your Lord and sacrifice.

  • 3. Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.

    ) t $ x u tI/ F{$#

    x69 $# AlKafiroon 0 ! $# uq9 $# m9 $#

    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

    1. Say: O disbelievers.

    % $ p r' t x69 $#

    2. I do not worship that which you worship.

    I 6 r& $ t t 7 s?

  • 3. Nor are you worshippers of that which I worship.

    I u F r& t 7 t !$ t 7 r&

    4. Nor am I a worshipper of that which you worship.

    I u O$ t r& /% t $ nt6 t

    5. Nor are you worshippers of that which I worship.

    I u F r& t 7 t !$ t 6 r&

    6. For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.

  • your Lord, and ask for His forgiveness. Indeed, He is ever accepting repentance.

    =ys? 9 $# AlLahab 0 ! $# uq9 $# m9 $#

    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful1. May the handsof Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.

  • 2. His wealth will not avail him and that which he earned.

    !$ t 4o_ r& t & !$ t $ tu |=|2

    3. He shall burn into a blazing Fire.

    4 n? u y # Y$ t |N#s 5=om;

    4. And his wife, the carrier of slander (or thorns).

    ? r&t $#u s's!$ ym =sys9 $#

    5. Around her neck will be a rope of (twisted) palm-fiber.

  • | & AlIkhlas 0 ! $# uq9 $# m9 $#

    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful1. Say: He is Allah, the One.

    % u ! $# ymr& 2. Allah, the Self Sufficient.

    !$# y9 $# 3. He begets not, nor was He begotten.

    s9 $ # t s9 u s9

    4. And no one is equivalent with Him.

  • 0 ! $# uq9 $# m9 $# In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful1. Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak.

    2. From the evil of that which He created.

    h $ t t,n=y{

    3. And from the evil of the darkness when it spreads.

    u h @,% y #s ) |=s%u

    4. And from the evil of the blowers into knots.

    u hx M sV 9 $# s) 9 $#

  • 5. And from the evil of an envious one when he envies.

    u hx >% tn #s ) y|ym

    $ 9 $# AnNaas 0 ! $# uq9 $# m9 $#

    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful 1. Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind.

    2. The King of mankind.

    7 =t $9 $# 3. The God of mankind.

  • 4. From the evil of the whisperer who withdraws.

    5.Who whispers into the hearts of mankind.

    6. From among the jinn and mankind.
