Coddingtown Veterinary Clinic 2210 County Center Drive Santa Rosa, Calif. 95403 Dear Redwood Empire Practitioners, First I would like to thank you all for voting me back in as REVMA President. It is an honor and I appreciate your trust. Secondly, I want to remind everyone that being a member of REVMA has a number of perks we sometimes take for granted. Perhaps we should all take a moment to appreciate the following: Interesting, regular, and conveniently local, CE supplied with Tasty meals in a classy atmosphere. A chance to foster cordial and cooperative relationships with our peers so that we don’t fall into the pitfalls of shortsighted competitiveness. Access to the latest info on what’s happening politically and a voice in said politics. Peer review mediation in the event of a problem client. Economic benefits when we can swing group negotiations with insurance, hazardous waste, uniform, or cremation service companies (for example). Not to mention the fantastically fun yearly REVMA Conference for both ourselves and our staff! (Go ahead -- Mark your calendar now for Sunday, October 9 th , 2011! You know you want to go, and so do your best staffers.) You also have a voice in how your local association is run and organized. Check out the updated by-laws the board has been working on at www.redwoodempirevma.net, and email the board with your concerns and thoughts (We accept compliments too!). We will be voting to approve the updated by-laws at our CE meeting on May 19, 2011 at the Double Tree Hotel and Conference Center at 6:30PM. Annual Memberships will be included in this newsletter for April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2012. Why not reach out and invite someone to the next meeting that you haven’t seen in a while? Dear Redwood Empire Practitioners,

First I would like to thank you all for voting me back in as REVMA President. It is an honor and I appreciate your trust.

Secondly, I want to remind everyone that being a member of REVMA has a number of perks we sometimes take for granted. Perhaps we should all take a moment to appreciate the following:

Interesting, regular, and conveniently local, CE supplied with

Tasty meals in a classy atmosphere.

A chance to foster cordial and cooperative relationships with our peers so that we don’t

fall into the pitfalls of shortsighted competitiveness.

Access to the latest info on what’s happening politically and a voice in said politics.

Peer review mediation in the event of a problem client.

Economic benefits when we can swing group negotiations with insurance, hazardous

waste, uniform, or cremation service companies (for example).

Not to mention the fantastically fun yearly REVMA Conference for both ourselves and

our staff!

(Go ahead -- Mark your calendar now for Sunday, October 9th, 2011! You know you

want to go, and so do your best staffers.)

You also have a voice in how your local association is run and organized. Check out

the updated by-laws the board has been working on at www.redwoodempirevma.net, and email the board with your concerns and thoughts (We accept compliments too!). We will be voting to approve the updated by-laws at our CE meeting on May 19, 2011 at the Double Tree Hotel and Conference Center at 6:30PM.
