Блокировка/разблокировкаДля переключения фонаря в режим блокировки необходимо после включения фонаря нажать кнопку включения и кнопку «Режим» и удерживать их в течение 1 секунды. В этом режиме вы-полнение всех функций блокируется, а обе кнопки становятся неактивны, что предотвращает случайное включение фонаря. Для разблокировки необходимо повторно нажать и удерживать обе кнопки в течение 1 секунды.Примечание:В режиме блокировки, фонарь R40 может оставаться в рабочем состоянии на протяжении 24 ме-сяцев (при полном заряде батареи).В случае если устройство не будет использоваться в течение продолжительного периода времени, следует вынуть батарею во избежание случайного включения фонаря или саморазряда батареи.
ЗарядкаR40 имеет функцию зарядки через USB. Кроме того, в комплект фонаря входит настенная и на-стольная док-станции для индуктивной зарядки устройства.1. Зарядка через USB: Поднимите крышку в торце фонаря, чтобы открыть зарядный порт, а за-тем подключите зарядный порт к источнику питания USB посредством USB-кабеля, чтобы начать процесс зарядки.2 . Зарядка с помощью док-станции. В док-станции и в торце фонаря расположены индуктивные катушки, позволяющие осуществлять передачу энергию между двумя устройствами посред-ством электромагнитного поля. Фонарь выключится, а встроенный индикатор заряда начнет мигать через каж-дые 3 секунды, указывая пользователю местоположение фонаря R40. Регулировка яркостиПри включенном фонаре, нажимайте кнопку «Режим» для последовательного переклю-чения уровней мощности в следующем порядке: минимальный-низкий-средний-вы-сокий-турбо. R40 обладает функцией памяти, благодаря чему при включении фонаря активируется тот режим яркости, который использовался последним.

Output & Runtime
Special Modes (Strobe/Beacon/SOS)With the light turned on, hold down the mode switch for 1 second to enter strobe, hold down the mode switch for 1 second again to switch to beacon, repeat the process to cycle through Beacon-SOS-Strobe.Instant Access to StrobeWith the light turned off, tap the mode switch twice in quick succession to enter strobe instantly, press any switch again to exit.
Lockout/UnlockWith the light turned on, hold down both power and mode switches for 1 second to lockout all functions, both switches are rendered inoperative in lockout to prevent accidental activations. To unlock, hold down both switches for 1 second again.Note:1. A fully charged battery will keep the R40 in lockout operational for 24 months.2. Remove battery if the product will be left unattended for extensive period to avoid accidental activation or battery leakage.
ChargingThe R40 comes with USB recharge capability, and a wall mount cradle and a desktop cradle are included to provide inductive charging.1. USB charging: Lift the cover at the bottom of the tail cap to expose the charging port, connect the charging port to an USB power supply through a USB cord to start the charging process.2. Cradle charging: Inductive coils are concealed both in the cradle and the tail cap, this allows energy to be transferred between two objects through an electromagnetic field. Secure the R40 onto the cradle and connect the cradle to a power outlet to initiate the charging process.
Power TipsAfter battery installation or with the mode switch being pressed when the light is off, the blue power indicator built into the dual switches will blink to indicate remaining battery power. For example, the power indicator will blink 4 times, followed by a 1.5 second pause and another 2 blinks to indicate a power level of 4.2V.
ATR TechnologyAdvanced temperature regulation (ATR) technology allows the R40 to dynamically adjust output performance according to its internal temperature. This prevents damage from overheating and prolongs its working life.
Changing / Charging BatteryBatteries should be replaced or recharged when output appears to be dim or the flashlight becomes unresponsive.
MaintenanceEvery 6 months, threads should be wiped with a clean cloth followed by a thin coating of silicon-based lubricant.
Warranty Service All NITECORE® products are warranted for quality. Any defective / malfunctioning NITECORE® product can be repaired free of charge for a period of 60 months (5 years) from the date of purchase. Beyond 60 months (5 years), a limited warranty applies, covering the cost of labor and maintenance, but not the cost of accessories or replacement parts.The warranty is nullified in all of the following situations:1. Dual SwitchThe power switch controls the power and the mode switch controls brightness and other modes.
ON/OFFPress the power switch to switch the light on, press it again to switch the light off.
Positioning LightWith the light turned on, hold down the power switch for 3 seconds, this turns the light off and in turn activates the built-in power indicator to blink once every 3 seconds, this serves to remind users of the location of the R40. With a fully charged battery, the R40 will remain operational for 12 months with the power indicator activated, and 24 months with the power indicator deactivated.
Brightness AdjustmentWith the light turned on, press the mode switch to cycle through Ultralow-Low-Mid-High-Turbo. The R40 comes with memory function for brightness setting, it will resume the brightness setting last used.
Quick Access to Ultralow/TurboWith the light turned off, hold down the power switch for 1 second to access “Ultralow” (1 lumen) output.With the Light turned off, hold down the mode switch for 1 second to access “Turbo” (1000 lumens) output.

Special Modes (Strobe/Location Beacon/SOS)With the HC60 turned off, press the switch twice in quick succession to access strobe. To cycle through the special modes SOS-Location Beacon-Strobe, press the switch repeatedly. To exit a special mode, press and hold the switch to turn the HC60 off.
ATR TechnologyAdvanced temperature regulation (ATR) technology allows the HC60 to dynamically adjust output performance according to its body temperature. This prevents damage from overheating and prolongs its working life.
Power TipsUpon battery installation, the blue power indicator blinks to indicate the voltage of the battery (accurate to 0.1V). For example, when battery voltage is 4.2V, the power indicator will blink 4 times in quick succession, followed by a 1.5 second pause and then another two blinks. Different voltages represent the corresponding remaining battery power levels:
ChargingThe HC60 is capable of charging a protected 18650 Li-ion battery using the included USB cable. Open the cap with logo, install a protected 18650 Li-ion battery, plug one end of the USB cord into the HC60’s micro-USB port and the other end into a universal USB port (a computer, car charger, etc). Fully charging a depleted 18650 Li-ion battery takes approximately 6 hours.

On/Off OperationTo turn the HC60 on: Press the switch once;To turn the HC60 off: Press and hold the switch. The HC60 will turn off and enter standby mode.
Brightness LevelsWith the HC60 turned on, press the switch repeatedly to cycle through the following brightness levels Ultralow-Low-Mid-High-Turbo. The HC60 has a memory feature. By pressing and holding the switch for one second, it will resume the brightness level or special mode last used.Direct access to turbo:With the HC60 turned off, press and hold the switch for two seconds to enter turbo level (1000 lumens). Press and hold the switch again to turn it off.Note: In standby mode, the HC60 can stand by for over two years on one 18650 battery.
1. If a problem (battery damage, reverse polarity, etc) is detected during the charging process, the HC60 will stop charging and the blue indicator built in the switch will blink rapidly.2. Under normal charging conditions, the blue indicator will blink every 1.5 seconds. When charging is complete, the HC60 will automatically terminates charging, and the blue indicator will illuminate steadily.3. Do not charge CR123 or RCR123 batteries in the HC60.
Changing / Charging BatteryBatteries should be replaced or recharged when output appears to be dim or the flashlight becomes unresponsive.
MaintenanceEvery 6 months, threads should be wiped with a clean cloth followed by a thin coating of silicon-based lubricant.
Warranty Details Our authorized dealers and distributors are responsible for warranty service. Should any problem covered under warranty occurs, customers can contact their dealers or distributors in regards to their warranty claims, as long as the product was purchased from an authorized dealer or distributor. NITECORE’s Warranty is provided only for products purchased from an authorized source. This applies to all NITECORE products.Any DOA / defective product can be exchanged for a replacement through a local distributor/dealer within the 15 days of purchase. After 15 days, all defective / malfunctioning NITECORE® products can be repaired free of charge for a period of 60 months (5 years) from the date of purchase.
