Basic CPR for RACGP Requirements

The RACGP requires GPs to have completed an accred-ited CPR course during the current triennium which fi n-ishes at the end of this year.

In this workshop delegates will have the opportunity to

participate in an interactive workshop involving an update on latest CPR guidelines and use of automat-ed defi brillators followed by assessment of CPR skills.

The workshop will be approximately 1-1.5 hrs dura-tion, supervised by qualifi ed ARC accredited instruc-tors and will be compliant with all RACGP require-ments. GPs will have to physically demonstrate their

ability to perform and be assessed as competent in performing CPR.

Sessions will be run in parallel with the lectures. There may also be a session available at the end of the seminar for those wishing to do the workshop after the last lecture. Sessions will be scheduled ac-cording to demand with a maximum of 25 partici-pants each.

The additional cost includes RACGP points process-ing and certifi cation.
