INTRODUCTION My aim is two make two scripts for my

advert. Both adverts will be different. I will then choose the one that I think is

perfect for my pitch. I also have to be very careful because I have a budget of £2000. my advert should be about 30 seconds long.

The advert should also include information about my client and the courses provided.

Also bit about the different campuses that The college must standout from other colleges

PURPOSE To raise awareness.

Promote the college.

The main purpose is make an advert which aims at 16+ students who will be leaving school at looking forward to go college.

Advert must also aim at parents of these students.

BACKGROUND OF CLIENT My client is South & City College. Provides students part time and full time courses and

Apprenticeships courses from level 1 in a range of courses. They have ten campuses around Birmingham. Actively involved in the community in local business which

allows the students to have work experience. The college is the highest performing general FE college in

Birmingham for 16-18 year olds (National success rates 2011/12) and 95

Different courses in different campuses All students have access to spot, leisure facilities and gym the

college also have common room Many technology facilities All the campuses have good public transport links so you can

reach college easily The college has two women-only centres, so students can

learn in a comfortable and safe environment.

ADVERT 1 BRIEF Advert one is based on the theme of inspector

gadget. The tone of voice that I will se is casually students

having a conversation. For advert 1will use two female voices sounding

like normal college students. The music that I will use is going to be the

inspector gadget theme song. There will be no special effects used. The advert is going to be unique because I will

make it seem like two students are talking but with funky inspector gadget theme music.

In the advert the brand name is given at the end of the advert so the listener remembers it.

campus its really good the equipment is up to date and everything. I even get to take equipment home to do my own little thing sometimes.

Voice 2: at south and city college we give our students many opportunities to gain work experience. We have many facilities. There are many campuses spread over Birmingham. Different courses different campuses, and if your worried about transport we give free bus passes or train passes to our students aged 16-18.

ADVERT 2 BRIEF The voice is of a 16 year old girl the voice is

sweet and calm talking about here childhood journey.

There is only one voice used. The music is calm and relaxing which builds

up There is no sound effects used for this advert. This advert will not cost much yet It still is

very powerful. In the advert the brand name is mentioned at

the end and the slogan. The advert is brief so it doesn't bore the listener.

ADVERT 2 : AARIFAH ALI ScriptAs a kid I always got into a lot of mischief, I

loved pulling pranks and acting like a ninja I was the very best 007 secret agent. I liked climbing trees, drawing and taking pictures of the most random things. So when it came to making a serious decision I was really confused so I went online and nothing seemed interesting except South and City Birmingham. are both male The script is a about two friends who

have recently left discussing what they are going to do because they have left school.

The music is going to be hip hop No sound effects The advert is brief and simple so it wont

bore the audience
