Thank you for purchasing your Home Automation Starter Kit from RadioShack. Your Home Automation Starter Kit controls up to eight Plug ‘n Power modules automatically or instantly. The Basics
setting up your mini timerConnect the power supply to the Mini Timer and plug the power
supply into an AC outlet.
installing your batteriesInsert two AA batteries (not supplied) in thebattery compartment to maintain your settings inthe event of a power outage.
If the battery is low, dead, or has not beeninstalled, the low battery indicator will appear inthe display.
The backlight and the buzzer do not operate whenthe unit is running on the backup batteries.
setting your clock When you first plug in the Mini Timer, the display will flash.
Set the mode switch to clock set.
Press and hold + on the time rocker to advance to the correcttime. If you go too far, you can use - on the bottom of therocker switch to go back.
Wake Switch - In the on position, an internalwake up buzzer will sound at the timeprogrammed for module 1. You can turn it offby pressing any button to obtain the “snooze” feature, repeating the alarm again 10 minuteslater. Move the wake switch to off to end the
alarm. Return it to on to resume the alarmsetting.
Note
You must use the power supply that came with your HomeAutomation Starter Kit. The power supply contains circuitryrequired to control your Plug ‘n Power modules. You cannot replaceit with a 12V power supply.
Battery Cautions
Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn orbury them.
Do not mix batteries of different types, capacities and chemistry.
Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommendedtype.
If you do not plan to use your mini timer for several weeks,remove the batteries.
