1Cut 110 coordinated "squares" of fabric, 6" x 7" in size. This project is fat-quarter friendly; you will get 9 squares from each quarter.

2Sew 11 columns of 10 squares each, connecting squares into 6" strips by sewing along the 7" sides with a 3/8" seam allowance.

3 Sew / cut 11 columns of backside fabric to 6" wide x 60-63" long.

4Place strips together with wrong sides facing each other, and stitch along the ~ 60" sides with a 5/8" seam allowance. This will create 11 long "channels".

5

Connect channels together, sewing along the existing line of stitches, with the raw edge / seam facing toward the TOP / FRONT of the quilt. This is represented by the double solid line in the diagram above.

6Snip "fringe" along raw edges, and wash and dry quilt to create a ruffled edge look.

7Stitch across all channels, 5/8" from the edge of the blanket, closing the channels at one end.

8

Measure poly pellets and pour the amount needed to fill one square (this will be close to 1 oz. in weight) into the top of each channel as shown by the arrows above. Shake blanket, allowing pellets to settle to the bottom of the quilt. Then, "stich in the ditch" over quilt square edges, closing off each individual square once filled with pellets (represented by dashed lines above). Repeat for each row of sqaures until entire blanket is filled.

9

Once the top row is filled and closed, run an additional line of stitching along entire outer edge of blanket to reinforce seams. Snip along the edge of the blanket to create fringed look around the edges.
