ORDINANCE NO. 01, s. 2013

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE OFFICIAL SEAL OF THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN OF RAGAY, CAMARINES SUR

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Ragay, Province of Camarines Sur in its regular session assembled, that:

Section 1.New Official Seal. The Official Seal of the Sangguniang Bayan of Ragay, Camarines Sur is hereby adopted. The design of the Sanggunian Bayan Seal shall bear the following features:

a) GAVEL

b) BOOK

c) ROUND TABLE GROUP

d) PAPERS

e) GLOWING TEXT -“Sagisag ng Sangguniang Bayan ng Ragay, Camarines Sur”

f) PEOPLE HOLDING HANDS FORMING A CIRCLE

g) LGU SEAL

h) THE COLORS ROYAL BLUE, SKY BLUE AND YELLOW

1. The GAVEL depicts the proper order and decorum in the session hall and the authority of the Sangguniang Bayan as the law making body of the municipality.

2. The BOOK represents the Philippine Constitution and RA 7160 known as the Local Government Code of 1991 – source of the authority of the Sangguniang Bayan.

4. The PAPERS represent the ordinances and resolutions passed by the Sangguniang Bayan .3. The ROUND TABLE

GROUP symbolizes the council whose primary function is to consult, deliberate and legislate local laws for the welfare of their constituents.

6. The PEOPLE HOLDING HANDS FORMING A CIRCLE symbolizes the community’s cooperation and support for the council.

5. The GLOWING TITLE -“Sagisag ng Sangguniang Bayan ng Ragay, Camarines Sur”, indicates the title and ownership of the seal. The GLOW represents the burning desire to build a better town for the present and future generations.

7. The LGU SEAL – acknowledgement of the Local Government Unit, under which the Sangguniang Bayan belongs.

8. The Royal Blue color denotes the nobility of the SB’s intentions

9. The Yellow color denotes the bright and breezy disposition of the Ragayano

9. The Sky Blue color denotes hope

Section 2. Symbolism and Interpretation.

Section 3. Repealing Clause. All ordinances, rules and regulations or part thereof, in conflict or inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed or amended accordingly;

Section 4. Effectivity. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan
