express opinions and more. We will then choose the content that we
wish to explore for our audience. The content will be entirely up

Event Management• Have you ever wanted to organise and run a
large event? This could be a disco, film night,
BBQ, Summer fete or something else!
• In this UBC you will come up with an idea of an event to
organise and run.
• You will be responsible for booking/purchasing any items
required for your event• Pitching to the Social Hub for a loan to
kickstart your event• Identifying risks and assessing these•
Producing promotional materials to advertise your event• Creating
and selling tickets• Running your event.
• Please be aware that you will probably need to give up some of
your own time to run the event – this could be after school or
during a weekend (depending on what your group chooses to do!)
