Darululoom Chicago

• To produce good Muslims and good community

members, Darululoom Chicago strives to:

– Discharge true and authentic teachings of Islam

– Focuses on the spiritual tarbiyah of the students

• Memorization of Quran and Islamic Scholarship

Programs are offered:

– For both male and female students

– On both weekdays and weekends

• So far over 100 students have become Islamic scholars,

while the number of students who have finished

Darululoom Chicago

• Daily Maktab classes held to help afterschool

students:

– Memorize Quran with Tajwid

– Memorize Ahadith & Supplications

– Learn Islamic etiquettes

• A dedicated staff of 15+ ‘ulamah and ‘aalimat teach

the students on a daily basis

• Short length Basic Deeniyat Courses offered

• Seminars arranged on different topics on a monthly

basis by Darululoom teachers and students


Guidance Educational Academy

• Equips our children with secular education in an

Islamic environment

• Follows Skokie district 69 syllabus

• Islamic etiquettes taught on a daily basis from

wearing Islamic attire, to eating according to the

Sunnah, to praying salah in the correct manner etc.

• In addition to secular education, special focus on

Islamic teachings including tajwid, Arabic language,

translation and tafseer of specific surahs and

ahadith, basics of fiqh, daily supplications etc.


Miscellaneous Programs

• In addition to the above mentioned services, on an yearly basis

several Islamic programs are arranged in different localities, e.g.:

– Dars-e-Quran and Dars-e-Hadith

– Importance of Academic and Religious Education

– Da‘wah and Tabhleegh

– The life of Rasulullah Sallallaho ‘Alyhi Wasallam

– Unity Among Muslims

– Virtues of Hajj and Qurbani

– Importance of Yaum-e-Ashur

– Reformation of the society

– Importance of earning and eating Halal

– Majalis-e-Tasawwuf & Tarbiyah


Our Finances


Financial Structure

• Shariah Board of America’s services are free of cost

• The tuition charged in both Darululoom and

Guidance Education Academy is minimal

• Even then over 50% students either do not pay any

fees or pay discounted fees

• In order to pay for our operational expenses

including the salaries of the ‘ulamah, ‘aalimat and

other employees (total of 60 full-time and part-

time), monthly Islamic mortgage, utility bills etc.

our reliance remains mainly on your donation


Financial Appeal• Our yearly budget is approximately 1.5M dollars, with

a 70-80K deficit per month, for which we need your

donations

• Ways You can help (monthly or yearly donations):

– Help pay off the loan on Masjid Rahmat-e-Alam ($1M)

– Monthly utilities, building maintenance, repairs etc.

($10,000)

– Yearly tuition of a student memorizing Quran, becoming

an Islamic scholar or attending GEA (~$5,000)

– Monthly salary of a full time or part time staff member of

SBA, DUC or GEA
