The school is thrilled that acclaimed Australian actress Rachael Beck has agreed to join the musical production. Her credits include productions of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Singing in the Rain and The Sound of Music. Rachael is widely remembered for her award-winning role as Belle opposite Hugh Jackman in Beauty and the Beast. In addition, she has starred in numerous television productions including Home and Away, City Homicide, Stingers and The Flying Doctors. The Lindisfarne students also have the wonderful opportunity to be led by world-class Director Darren Yap (Mamma Mia, Miss Saigon) and Musical Director Max Lambert (Strictly Ballroom, Hairspray). They are regarded as two leading practitioners in the country and will ensure that Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a high-calibre musical production that will draw the best out of our students. The experience will be invaluable in building not only the capacity of the students themselves, but the entire Lindisfarne Creative and Performing Arts community. These experiences help to remind us of what we are truly capable of achieving, and this production is significant in the aspirational journey of the school. We anticipate over 1700 tickets being sold for the show over four performances and if you choose to support us, there are considerable opportunities to market your business to the local community.
