Rainier Valley Neighborhood Greenway featuring Art Interruptions 2018 The Seattle Department of Transportation and of the Office of Arts & Culture commissioned 7 emerging public artists to create temporary art installations along the new Rainier Valley Neighborhood Greenway. Look for the art between Othello Park and Rainier Beach Playfield!

The Rainier Valley Neighborhood Greenway construction is nearing completion. This route connects all the way from Rainier Beach to Mount Baker, over 6 miles long. Based on the community input we received since 2014 we have made the busy streets easier to cross and small improvements like speed humps, stop signs, and pavement repairs to make walking and biking around the neighborhood easier.

We are excited to celebrate this new Neighborhood Greenway by hosting Art Interruptions 2018!
