Objectives
• Create a spirit of cooperation and community among neighbors and well-wishers / people concerned to work collaboratively towards the enhancement and conservation of the neighborhood;
• Provide a stable forum for individual voices and needs to be expressed, and
which grows stronger over time;
• Determine community priorities and influence community decisions by serving as liaison between neighborhood residents and government, commercial and other entities on matters of neighborhood concern;
• Actively pursue projects that enhance the reputation, beauty, safety, integrity, and the quality of life of the neighborhood; and
• Pro-actively reach out to other wards and neighborhoods as support agency so that other parts of Pondicherry benefit from such initiatives.

6. Get your endorsement that this existing group: • Registers the Neighbourhood Association• Organization’s purpose, • Membership rights and qualifications, • Election and voting procedures, • Titles of officers and board members, • Terms and responsibilities, and • Rules for amending the by-laws
7. Decide on date for next meeting and periodicity of Public Meetings
