Ramadan 1438/2017.
Al-Hamdulillah this is our Ninth Ramadan together at Sayeda Khadija Centre and we are very excited to serve you and live this blessed month with you. Ramadan is a wonderful and rich spiritual season that refreshes our faith, replenishes our souls and brings us closer to one another. We thank Allah for blessing the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) with this beautiful act of worship that uplifts both the individual and the community spirits. Ramadan is the month of forgiveness, mercy, assistance, care and sacrifice. We strive in it to show the best of ourselves to Allah and show love to our fellow human beings. At Sayeda Khadija Centre, we are very eager to receive hundreds of families coming to worship and break fast with us in this blessed month. We are looking forward to seeing many faces that we have missed over the year or the last few months and we pray that this Ramadan will be a much better opportunity than the previous ones to get closer to Allah and closer to one another in love, respect and appreciation. We invite everyone to participate, volunteer, donate and celebrate. Your ideas and suggestions are always welcome and appreciated. Last year 2016/1437 we were able to give again over $220,000 to different charities to help the poor and the needy, hospitals, food banks as well as the victims of natural disasters and wars. Please donate your Zakat in this blessed month for more rewards and blessings. Ramadan Kareem and Jazakumu Allahu Khayran!

RAMADAN 1438/2017 TARGET = $400,000 The Prophet (S) was the most generous of people and was even more generous during the month of Ramadan when Angel Jibreel (AS) visited him. Jibreel (AS) would meet with him (S) every night of Ramadan until the end of the month and the Prophet (S) would recite the Qur’an to Jibreel (AS). When Jibreel (AS) met him (S), he (S) would be more generous than a swift wind bringing rain. (Bukhari & Muslim)
The Prophet (S) said, “Whoever builds a masjid for the pleasure of Allah, Allah builds for him/her a house in Jannah.” (Bukhari & Muslim)
