Dogs just like humans need to be living in a safe and loving environment. Feeding and exercising your animal should be an essential ingredient in your daily routine. Dog’s need a balanced diet and regular grooming to live a healthy life. As a Dog owner you hold the responsibility to set time aside for your dog’s attention. Our group has chosen to present our E –LEARNING Tutorial on Dog Care on the Randwick City Council Site. The Council offers a few links on the website relative to domestic animals. Although the articles offer topics of discussion such as dog walking destinations and information on micro chipping, the website does not have any information on animal care. Our E-learning Tutorial is designed to teach dog owners how to clean, feed, exercise and look after your pet. The Tutorial also highlights the importance of animal care and how essential it is to maintain a balanced routine.

We hope that this E-learning tutorial will prompt viewers’ awareness in Dog Care as well as underline the message of balance in a dog’s lifestyle. We hope by publishing this tutorial it will influence other pet owners to seek advice in caring for their animals.

Dog Feeding ScreenProtein is an important factor in your dog’s diet. This includes feeding your dog chicken or beef for example. Protein nourishes skin, hair and antibodies. Vitamins are an essential source in every diet. They improve animal skin and coat as well as their immune system. Dogs do not require vitamin C.Fats are also an essential ingredient to a dog’s diet. The fats and oil that your dog intakes must however be taken with proportion to the other nutrition required. The Fat’s your dog eats assist good skin or a warm fur coat. Basic Tips to Remember

Keep a pet dairy or calendar as a reminder of daily activities.  Keep a history of medical records in a portfolio to make it easier for the vet to work out what’s wrong.  Check with landlords and a body corporate if we are allowed to have pets.
